New layout. Since most of you probably never look at the thing, click here to see it.
It's just one of the ones you can select, didn't modify any of it. But I like it.
(BTW, the title came from an Eurobeat song, and not... what a lot of you might think ^_~)

Bought some crap at eBay:
Those. I have two pairs of these already but they don't have that hole for your thumb. Can't wait to try them, hope they fit onto my fat arms XD
Lamest t-shirt in the world. But since I always wanted one of those, I figured what the hell ^^

Also, this happened. In the opposite direction. I saw the shirt on Saturday's show and afterwards noticed he'd just bought it on eBay a few days before that. Oh my, what a werido <3

Snooping around on other peoples' eBay accounts?
Nah XDD

Yep, this one's fer real :D

And even if I didn't know for sure, I'd be totally certan after looking at this. I mean, who else would buy something that... memorable? Hell, that one is almost worse than the Indian elephants O_O
I swear to you, if I ever see him wearing that... thing... on TV... I'm gonna die.
But! Now I know his clothes size. He's a small guy, isn't he?

Oh, and BTW, here's mine, in case you're as frickin' curious as I am curious ;)

Stuff I did yesterday:

- Beat public transport that tried to fuck with me. Haha >:D
- Had my ugly mug photographed for applications (Maybe I'll show you the thing later...)
- Ate donuts and other bakery stuff from a take-away bakery. I had no idea these exist, but then, I'm from the middle of nowhere XD
- Bought a couple of socks because I'm running out of them (Blackadder reference, anyone? :3)
- Wrote biiig application to the store I told you about yesterday (GoshIhopetheytakemeohprettypleasepleasethanks ^_^;;)

Stuff I did today:

- Scanned and copied high school graduation certificate and uni kickout certificate
- Called too see whether I can still join the running CPE prep course. Will apply (and pay) for it tomorrow morning, first class on Monday *squee*
- Applied online for another job at another electronics store. Ahem ;)

Yes, looks good so far.
OMGROFL. Just now, the cats stretched in unison. Awww ^^
Ah, there's Yama. C ya!!

Well, I thought of something. Hope it's not too stupid.
But this did make me cringe a bit:

Right, I know the stuff would be all kinds of late, but that?! O_O;;;

At least their shipping costs down there are somewhat reasonable.
Their gift-wrap on the other hand... What's the stuff made of? Platinum??
Anyway, I thought of something. Which is good. Hopefully.

My parking sign arrived.
So did RJ. He's so cute and totally soft *cuddles him*

Last night, Stephen had an unusual lot of troble keeping a straight face. Adorable <3
And during the check-in with Jon, they both cracked each other up. Don't we all love it when that happens?
But this week's highlight (apart from the marvelous interviews with Bill Gates and Neil deGrasse Tyson) was the "emboldening terrorists" thing with John Oliver. Holy cow, that one made me cry with laughter.
BTW, I was surprised to learn that Oliver's only four years older than me. But maybe I just can't get used to the fact that I'm not fourteen any more ^^;;;

... too much TDS/TCR blogging these days...

Articles like this one do make me happy that I didn't spend my entire childhood sitting in front of the TV and eating cereals. No! I actually played outside and read books. Oh, and I started writing/drawing comics in third or fourth grade. Hell, I'm so weird XD

I know I haven't been active on eBay for quite some time. Actually, mum has been almsot concerned about that.
Well, mum, worry no more, for here are tonight's purchases, yeehaaa :D

Twingo parking space sign

Okay, that one shouldn't surprise anyone. I actually think that people here wanted me to get it. Well, I got it ;)

New cover for 6230i

I like my cellphone a lot, but a lil' more black can never hurt, now can it? This is the old 6230 look, but I think it'll be really pretteh.

*cough* Raccoon *cough*

.... yes. My plushie madness has struck once more.
And yes, I bought a (temporary) villain from a Dreamworks CGI movie... to cuddle.
But awww, he's lovely, dontcha think?
Oh, and in case you were looking at the eBay article description, thinking "Why does it say Richie, he's called RJ!". Yeah, well... he was renamed in the dub. And in this case, it makes sense because we're not used to abbreviated names. But I of course prefer RJ. Ah, I hope he comes here real quick, I wanna huggle and pet him, he's so adorable <3 <3 <3

...

Okay, I'm back to normal. For now >:D

(And as you can see, I'm quick with user pics ^^)

- Eating at Subway and trying the tuna sub that bro recommended. Me likey =)
- Free Latte Macchiato because mum collected all those bonus points on her card
- Visiting the all-new Media Markt (electronics store) for the first time. So big and shiny and full of geeky stuff ^_^
- Laughing my ass of at mum joking and flirting with a 27-year old electronics sales clerk O_o
- Checking for VCRs and seeing that they're dying out bloody fast

In a few minutes, I'll drag my ass outta the house oncee again. It's Kou-chan time! Still haven't tested the radio so that's the first point on my list. Then, I'm gonna cruise around a bit and shop for some groceries and prolly the newest c't mag. Uh-huh, sounds good. C ya *wavey*

I bought a new ramen bowl and last night, I tried it out:

Yummy *drools*

The bowl emptied

WTF?! For some reason, Squishy Cow likes to sit in it ^^

I also got this:

- Demae Ramen sesame flavour (2 packets) (one already eaten XD)
- Demae Ramen duck flavour (2 packets)
- Demae Ramen curry flavour (2 packets)
- Korean noodle soup (mild) (4 bowls)
- Onigiri flavouring vegetable flavour
- Onigiri flavouring Perilla flavour
- Korean plum candy
- Japanese melon bubblegum
- Japanese grape bubblegum

Other stuff I bought with my Xmas money:

- 80 GB HDD for Kan-chan - silent and super fucking fast *O*

- Warhammer Army figure case (Bought off Yama for half the usual price since he got a bigger one)
- Warhammer Tyranid model: Zoanthrope
- Warhammer Tyranid models: 2 Gargoyles
- Warhammer Citadel colours to paint my new and old Tyranids

- Rayman Raving Rabbids for PS2 (Amazing game!)

Car crap:

- New cassette adapter to connect Three to Kou-chan's radio (Can't WAIT to try ^_^). Mum is keeping the old one.
- Little white plushie ghost holding a pumpkin - rear view mirror decoration for Kou-chan

SEB 173 is pure bloody CRACK. I mean, 171 and especially 172 have been really great, but the number of mind-blowing guitar-enhanced songs on 173 is just incredible.
Also, there are 10 songs I like. Out of 18. The average is like, four or five. Good album, huh?
Well, maybe that's the reason I keep failing to tear myself away from it? =)
Did some research. Found some... uh... interesting thigns ;)

#1
Yes, those are EYELASHES. Well, they kinda make sense since a) to me, cars' headlamps are not headlamps but eyes, and b) the Twingo's eyes look particularly alive. Still... ugh XD

#2
Two pieces of metal that, when attached to your Twingo's headlamps, give him an evil look. Unfortunately, you'll have to mount and colour them yourself and you have to talk to the car registration people about it as well. Adorable and cool but sadly, too much of a hassle T______T

#3
A sign saying "My Twingo parks here". Just one word: Awwwwwwwww <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

#4
Blue LEDs for the displays. Oh, you can see the digital speedometer quite well on the item pic!

ETA: Got the ghost after all. Love him ^^

Decisions, decisions...
This time: Rear view mirror decoration.
Should I get a plushie spider or a white ghost holding a pumpkin?

Well, at least I grabbed my own mp3 player cassette adapter =)

Memo to self: In case you're wondering who ate all of your chocolate coins - that was you =_=

The heating is dead. Repair guy will come tomorrow. It's cold everywhere except in the dining room where we have a good old wood-eating fireplace. I think dad has actually moved there now.
Mum's at choir practice, dad and I made some mulled wine to stay warm.
And now, I'm huddled in bed with Kan-chan to watch some SG-A.
Max is still downloading some stuff for me but since he's a big computer (and since I just shut off the Vista standby option that put him to sleep after just one hour ^_^;;;), he can do it alone.

What else...

Oh yeah. I found out that I don't need the Ultimate edition of Vista since the additional stuff it contains is just programs I can't even name let alone have any use for. What I need is just Home Premium (Home Basic actually lacks the pretteh Aero Glass surface which makes it pretty worthless and hardly different compared to XP =_=).
A System Builder copy of Vista Home Premium that would cost me 119 Euros. And I'm talking about a GB one. Yes, my favourite PC online shop actually sells British copies of Windows for the same price as the German ones. How would Borat put it? "Wow wowie wow" =)

I'm also thinking of giving Max a second GB of RAM for Xmas. It makes sense since he might very well be running Vista for the rest of his life and that eats up a shitload of memory.

And now...

[livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive -- December 8, 2006

1. If you could, would you be a movie star or a rock star? Which one, and why?
Neither. I think I'd like to be a stand-up comedian. That'd be fun =)

2. Have you ever been in the media (TV, radio, papers)?
I've been on the radio once (interview about weblogs, summer 2003). And I've been in the local newspaper once or twice back in kindergarten/elementary school.

3. Do you know anyone who's been on a reality TV show?
Well, if I did, I think I wouldn't want to know them any more O_o

4. Have you ever met anyone famous?
Define "meet" aand define "famous". I talked to Knacki Deuser (German comedian) for about 17 seconds in 2005. Dunno whether that counts...

5. Who would play you in a movie?
No idea. Really X_x

1.
I found something to buy with that PayPal gift thingy. Unfortunately, it's a bit on the risky side so I won't be talking about it here ^_~

2.
Next week, [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi has to go to Zurich and work there for four days. Which means that I get to take care of teh kittehs again. He actually tried to bribe me with a rather expensive gift, which was completely unneccessary. However, I let him pay me in books (or rather, a book) *lol* And... I'll even take Max with me this time so I can treat my lovely comp to a 16 Mbit connection for once =)

Now, you all know that I like to buy things on eBay. And at times, I do it quite often.
So why is it that now that I've got a 7€ gift token from PayPal, I suddenly don't have the faintest idea what to get?!?
*pants*
This is seriously fucked up O_O
Guess who just ordered herself a cheap (probably used even though the vendor says it's new, but as long as it plays I don't bloody care) DVD copy of "V for Vendetta" from amazon Marketplace?
Yep, moi.
[livejournal.com profile] yamasagi and me watched it on Saturday.
He loved it.
Me, I almost didn't survive it.
OMGWTFBBQ.
It's been a long time since a movie moved and impressed me enough to make me wanna learn every damn line of it BY HEART.
A very long time indeed.
Okay, "Sin City" was really cool, but not like this.

And Stephen Fry also got such a delightful role ♥

Will be at [livejournal.com profile] yamasagis for a few days.
However, I will drop by once in a while. It's not like I'm able to live without all of you. NO WAI ^_^

Oh yeah.
Before I forget:

( Oct. 19th, 2006 02:01 pm)
[livejournal.com profile] joekickass posted some songs from the "Borat" soundtrack. Which made me search for Ali G videos on Youtube because I, too, think that he's the better character.
What fun :D
Watching that stuff again made me realize four things - a) I love that guy b) he is terribly funny c) I've seen an awful lot of his themed interviews (weapons, drugs, language, religion...) d) I'm ashamed to ever have watched ther German ripoff because it's so very, very bad compared to the original.

Anyway. I also read a couple of things about Sacha Baron Cohen so once the Borat movie is out, I'll be able to explain him to the people around me. Cuz I'm sure SOME of them will not get it. Like most of the people he interviewed as Ali G didn't get it and like some TV viewers and media who managed to confuse his characrters with his real self >:|

In other news: CD 1 and 2 of Star Trek: Borg are nearly finished. #3 might take a bit longer, tho. Still, it'll be nice to finally be able to play the damned thing. Oh, and OF COURSE I'm still planning to buy it later. And now... I need to go and search for some CD-Rs to burn the ISO files. Damn DVD age ;)

ETA: Oh! I completely forgot something. I ordered some stuff on eBay. A cellphone data cable and some rechargeable batteries for bro. It makes sense cuz *he* doesn't wanna open his own account but *I* want the rep points. Talk about a win-win situation ^_^
jessybxx: (Star Trek TNG - Q (slut XD))
( Sep. 25th, 2006 12:58 pm)
Today, at noon, mum entered my room. Three was charging.
Mum looked at him and said "What's that?"
X_____X

I also showed her that.
And she was like "But they're not saying Potter"
Yes, mum, they are. The problem is that you have no idea about US pronounciation XD

(mum practising some choir song)
Mum: "Was that nice?"
Me: "Yeah"
Mum: "Did you listen?"
Me: "No..."

Mum (concerned about her pronounciation): "Don't you get any of this?"
Me: "Maybe... if I was listening..."

--------------------------------

Apart from that, my DVDs arrived. Wow, that box looks a lot more expensive than it actually is *lol*
*goes to check it out*
But he was just too adorable to leave at the shop:

Biiig Goleo ^_^

He's one of the bigger models (40 cm / almost 16 inches) and cost 5€ (priced down from 29.99!!!). Why was he that cheap? The World Cup being over isn't the main reason, it's rather the fact that the company that made the mascosts went bankrupt. It's kinda like the Big Videogame Crash in the early Eighties. Back then, kids were really happy about the whole industry going down cuz games suddenly cost like, $1 ^_~

Awww, he's so CUDDLY!

Mmh... maybe that's an idea for yet ANOTHER new section over at takaraMONO... plushie gallery... mmh...

See subject :D

The thing is actually missing a screw because it was too crooked to get them all in. Well, it was cheap, so that's OK.
And it's still stable as hell.
Also, a bit lower than the old one and kinda hard to sit on. Which is a good thing.

And now...

Pics... again XD )
