Qi 4x11 is downloading right now so I'll take the chance to tell you about the weekend.

Dinner on Friday was quite OK apart from the usual smoke overdose. Me, [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi and his brother managed to keep away from HER (Little blonde brat who married Yama's coworker, got pregnant and will now forever be financed by him. Otherwise, she's thick like Mousse au Chocolat, treats her husband like shit in front of everyone else and should be on the lookout for me trying to brutally slaughter her) and mostly talked between ourselves.
We discussed cats because Yama's bro has got one, too. Her name is Shelley (second name "Fart", and I think fellow cat owners might know why XD) ans she's two years old. He said that he was really shocked when he saw our cats because they're already bigger than Shelley and they're only seven months old O_O I guess they'll be HUGE boys when they're adults...
He also showed us the PDA he bought. Cool device.
Food was nice, too.

On Saturday at noon, I called mum to ask whether she had already bought "Jack" (short for Jack Sparrow and we're of course talking about the PoTC2 DVD which was released on December 8). She told me she*'d managed to grab the last (!) copy at the store. Phew. So that was that.

Afterwards, Yama and me headed out to go shopping.

First was the electronics store. Yama wanted to get a new PS2 because his old one had been showing signs of old age for some time.
He got the new slimline model and a triple periphery pack (new remote control, controller, memory card).
When he unpacked the thing he almost had to search for the console inside the package. The whole box (which also has a controller inside) is about as big as the old console. I took a pic of it sitting next to Mabo-chan (my PS2):

Gods, it's FRICKIN' tiny!!!

It's about half the site of an average notepad and probably an inch thick.
And it's aready got the net connector and IrDA built-in so Yama bascially gave all of his old PS2 periphery to silly old me :D That means I ended up with the remote, net connector, the base and a spare controller. Not bad considering it's not even Xmas yet ^_~
Yama also said something very cute: "Y'know, that shows we're a family. You inherit my old stuff"
<3 <3 <3

We also wanted to shop for Warhammer-related Xmas pressies at the CentrO (big mall in Oberhausen). When we arrived there, it was PANDAEMONIUM. It took us longer to get a parking space than to select the stuff we wanted to buy AND talk to the people in the shop. Geez, it felt like half the country was crammed into that one shopping center :O

Anyway. Come Xmas, Yama and me will both own a nice Warhammer army. Yay ^_^

Unfortunately, that was still not it. The final stop was for food. We got a big chicken to roast in the evening and some other things.

We came home late and had a very late dinner (10 PM) since chickens take effing long to be well done. But it was very tasty and I'll get the best bit (tail) next time as well since Yama lost a bet. Ehe >:D

Of course, we also had fun with the kittehs. It's nice to hear that they don't trust everyone (apparently, they were scared of Yama's brother) but seem to recognize me even though I'm not around all the time. Well, I guess they're like "It's red at the top - that's mum" <3
On Saturday, Jiro almost killed us with a ginormous fart. But it's not like you can get angry at them. Little furry purry cuteballs *loves them sooooo much*

Today, I took the train and then the car which my parents had left at the station.
And now I'm here, listening to some podcasts I missed (tip for the German-speaking friends: The Batzventskalender - funny as hell. Always makes my day, that one :D) and waiting for Qi episode 4x11 to download. Can't wait <3

And now...

1. If you could, would you be a movie star or a rock star? Which one, and why?
Neither. I think I'd like to be a stand-up comedian. That'd be fun =)

2. Have you ever been in the media (TV, radio, papers)?
I've been on the radio once (interview about weblogs, summer 2003). And I've been in the local newspaper once or twice back in kindergarten/elementary school.

3. Do you know anyone who's been on a reality TV show?
Well, if I did, I think I wouldn't want to know them any more O_o

4. Have you ever met anyone famous?
Define "meet" aand define "famous". I talked to Knacki Deuser (German comedian) for about 17 seconds in 2005. Dunno whether that counts...

5. Who would play you in a movie?
No idea. Really X_x
