Since I can listen to music again without getting blinded by pain, I suppose I'm back.
What happened?
Well, a rather persistent flu managed to sneak in while my immune system was down from the stomach thing.
At first, I tried to get rid of it on my own. Took me more than a week to realize I won't make it til Saturday without help from a professional. By then, the pain from the sinus infection (never had one before =_=) was pretty close to driving me completely insane. On Monday, I went to our wonderful family doctor (who was finally back from her Easter holidays) and came back home with some antibiotics. So far, they're working well.

Wow, Saturday's the big day when... the new season of Doctor Who will start airing! Hooray!!
Wait, there was something else, something about a wedd... oh. Yeah, right *lol*
We finally got all of the organization done yesterday (I hope), and now, we can finally start looking forward to the whole event. Gonna be a wonderful day *smooches [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi*
Though I gotta tell you - I just can't write my new surname. I keep making mistakes when trying out my soon-to-be new signature. Such a complicated surname T_T HALP.

I've got some new hardware as well, but I'll write about that tomorrow, I guess. But believe me, it's pretty cool :D

Okay, the date is now official, booked'n'all.
April 5 it is.

Also, if we get enough money on that occasion, we might be getting an Eee PC each. But first comes a new couch and a bigger scratching post =)
Still, eeee, an Eee PC! Love the name *lol*

Stay tuned for my review of/opinion on the first two episodes of Doctor Who - the dub.

- For several reasons (among them psychological and financial ones), we had to downgrade the wedding. Now, it'll just be a small celebration with our parents, siblings, and the witnesses. No further guests, no invitations, no nothing. So sorry, everyone, but this is the only way. Otherwise, it'd have been a disaster in many, many ways.

- I'm also no longer a member of the Evangelical church. It cost me 30 Euros and a day of walking around wearing sneakers (Ugh XD).

- Yours truly went to the psych and got treatment options (group and single therapy). Also, I've been on Fluoxetine since yesterday. You Americans know the stuff, I think you call it Prozac. So far, it's good (Where the heck has my general fear of psych meds gone to, huh? O_O), though my stomach still needs a few days to adjust. Ow.

- We signed a marriage contract to protect the company (that, incidentally, will be [livejournal.com profile] yamasagis sooner than we thought, read on to see what I mean). Loved the lawyer. So cute, but soooo gay :D

- [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi's dad is planning to retire to Austria some time between this year and 2010. We'll apparently get the house. And I'll get hired as the company secretary and, possibly, software consultant. OMG times two.

- Listened to "The Scarecrow" and it's unbelievable, stellar, divine. Better than anything I've known before. Next week, I'll take pictures of the tin box's inside and scan the cards that came with it :D

Get better. And it starts on January 23! That is not to say that I'm not afraid. I'm utterly terrified. But everything else would be odd, I suppose. And I'm going there, don't worry.

Have an awesome wedding. One with lots of presents and good food and nice people. Oh yeah!
... crap, I still need a best (wo)man. HALP.

#3
Write. Start writing again and, preferably, don't stop. Never ever stop. I have so many worlds, so many places and things and people and images in my head. They cannot stay there forever. I've been writing all my life, and it has made me happy, if only in my little world and only for a while. But it was good. And I need to, want to get hold of that again, grasp it, cling to it and never, ever let go. Writing is all about me, I am all about writing and I want it back.

Make a decent website about Kai #2, if possible, bilingual. That's gonna be a lot of work, but I feel like doing it. Of course, if I wasn't the big old coward I am, I'd add "get a hold of the guy and meet him", but y'know...

Read more. Books, I mean. I read loads and loads, but it's mostly stuff on the 'net. I know, a lot of it can be useful and educating and stuff, but the way things are now makes me feel somewhat inferior. So, read, dammit!

Phew. That was a lot. Actually, I've never made resolves before. So let's see how this works, shall we?
