I HAS HAIRSTYLE.

As you can see on my user icon (and on the pics of course XD), it's still the dumb faded red (with the roots showing for several inches :|), but at least it's cut now.

When I arrived at the hair dresser, I was the only customer, and that didn't change until I left. Uh... am I supposed to be worried about the store being closed and gone soon (because that would sure suck)?
Was nicely taken care of by a very sweet guy. Cost me 29 Euros, which is okay since it did take a bit of time. Also got a dyeing voucher in case I don't feel like doing it myself. I guess I now found my new fave hair salon <3
So, without further ado - photos!

My webcam sucks so I took a whole bunch of pictures in order for you to get a better impression ;)

Bad.... er, NEW hair day XD )

When I got home from the hairdresser, soaking wet from the rain and rather annoyed because of that, I was greeted by the cutest sight ever that immediately made me forget my bad mood:

My lovely Tenchi, waiting for me in my chair <3

So, after talking to [livejournal.com profile] silicondreams, I decided to try a certain Manic Panic colour without bleaching my hair in advance. Too expensive to have it done, and too dangerous to do it myself. Also, since my hair is not that dark and also pretty damaged/porous, I hope it'll take on the colour.
But first, I'll be getting a new haircut. I hope the hairdresser's won't be too busy on Monday because I just can't wait :D
No, not telling anything yet, I want it to be a real surprise ;)

No time for Wacken report or pics... gonna do that when I'm back.
Went to the hairdresser today and got horribly, horribly ripped off. Well, at least I look nice now and [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi's lending me some money so I can at least pay my room in Munich.
Speaking of Munich... OMG it's tomorrow. Can't believe it's actually here.
Wrapped Kai's pressie (in a rather ugly way, but then, this is clumsy me we're talking about, eh? XD) and sorta packed most of the stuff I need.
I'm currently burning a DVD with lots of crazy Japanes music because he seems the only person I know (apart from me) who can not only stand hyper Jpop but actually likes the stuff.
BTW, I finally got his cellphone number and immediately assigned his own ringtone - "Rydeen" by YMO - his favourite band and the number one song to remind me of him. Makes sense, huh? ^^
Also got my way down there and back properly planned because it's the way I do things ;)
Still, that doesn't change the fact that I'm all kinds of anxious evven now. And now imagine me a minute before actually meeting him. I'll be the worst bundle of nerves ever!

Okay, gotta distract myself now. Gonna check some music I recently grabbed, maybe some of it is good so I can take it with me on Jack...

Hair!

1. What type of hair do you have? (Thin, Normal, Thick, Frizzy, etc.)
Too thin, unfortunately. I hope it'll be getting better now that I think I've found out why it's become like that...

2. What color is your hair currently?
A fading red dye with black highlights that are not fading quite as quickly.

3. What colors have you dyed/highlighted your hair?
Mostly various shads of red/orangey. I once had two strands dyed blue because my high school class was doing a "under the sea" themed party.

4. If you could dye your hair any color, what would it be?
Purple, maybe. I've always wanted to go black, too, but sicne I won't be able to go back to red for a long time if I did that, I'll very likely just keep the good ol' red.

5. What is your hair's length?
It's kind of long, I guess... I noticed anything shorter than shoulder-length doesn't suit me at all so you won't seem me chop my hair off completely any time soon ;)

Owies.
Memo to self: If you tell [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi to wrap the plastic wrap tightly around your head, he'll do exactly that. Wrap it hella tight. I feel like Elizabeth Weir in SG-A episode 4x01 ;)
Eek, five and a half hours to go O_o

But I wanna look decent for the new students welcoming ceremony tomorrow at the ungoldy hour of 11 AM *lol*
Still... So excited =)

Also, I'm back on WinXP and happily so. Also, back with Semagic which makes postign across four journaling services sooo much more convenient!
... right now, I have a heckload of smelling plant powder mixed with half a liter of lemon juice in my hair, which is additionally wrapped with plastic wrap and a towel.
It's scorchingly hot today and I'm supposed to leave this stuff on there for hours. Well, seems I chose the best possible day to do this. Not.
Considering the circumstances (the fact I've never dyed my hair myself, that I'm dead clumsy and terribly short-sighted), I think I did it rather well. I'll need to do a few things a bit differently next time (a bit more fluid into the henna, also, a bit more hanna cuz 100 grams cut thigns awfully close) but voerall, I'm kinda satisfied with my performance *lol*
However, I don't even wanna begin thinking of all the ways in which this could still go wrong O_O
*ignores for now and continues researching the LJ issue and playing around with the clone services*

...worked perfectly.
No green (which might have happened because of the chemical dye that's still more than resident in my hair), no brown (might happen if too much air gets to the henna), just a nice, light red (which is supposed to get darker until like, three days afterwards because the oxidation process isn't finished.
So, tomorrow - the real thing.

Apart from that, we have a bunch of fresh cookies in a box and a chicken on the grill. Yay~!

As many of you should know, I've been dying my hair red for a couple of years. To be exact, I've been doing it since December 2001.

I've always had somewhat thin hair compared to some girls I knew. Needless to say, it was pretty frustrating, and adding my boring natural hair colour didn't make it better.
So, I went red and stayed there.
But during the last, say one and a half years, things have constantly been getting worse. Mind you, I don't think I'm in any danger of getting bald, but it's certainly noticeable, especially because I usually wear the damn things in a ponytail (NO comments about bangs, [livejournal.com profile] silicondreams, 'kay? ^_~).
I need to change something since I don't wanna be stuck with either no hair or my stupid natural mid-blonde hair colour. However, it it seems that all chemical dyes are equally bad, no matter what brand or colour (Well, apart from blonde which must be deadly, but anyways). It's the damn ammoniac, I guess =_=

To be honest, I've been pretty desperate about this. Until today, when I finally remembered something that happened to me about two years ago.
Y'see, I was on my way home from [livejournal.com profile] yamasagis, and on the train, I met this nice, elderly lady.
She offered me some of her cherries (<3) and praised my hair. And she also suggested using henna instead of chemical dye because it's not dangerous.
Hell, why haven't I thought of that before?
Back then, I barely registered her comment, but right now, I'm entriely prepared to have a go at it.
I found some powder-y products that appear to make your hair really blindingly red. My natural hair colour is mid-blonde, so it won't be carrot-coloured afterwards (duh), but hopefully, still bright enough.
There's this brand called "Henna Plus Colour Powder". It comes in several coulous, one of them being "Super Red". That SO sounds like the right shtuff for me *snicker*

I've also been thinking about going black for some time. But I s'ppose it just wouldn't be me. Naah...
