Geek's ethics (... huh?)

Now I nearly started this post in German. Hello?! *slaps self*

I've never done any of those memes that start with "put your audio player on random". That's because most applications like that have pretty crappy shuffle functions and I can't imagine them to handle 4605 songs that well. Somehow, I feel like I'm the only person who has more than a few dozen mp3s lying around O_o

Since I changed my standard OS to WinXP again, I thought I'd do some improving on its looks. And this time, I've gone all the way.

I also re-installed Widows Blinds on Kan-chan even though I didn't plan to do so.

But somehow, I can't stand any OS in its unmodified form. I just have to add some individual stuff to it. Maybe that's just me, but I feel there's nothing personal about leaving everything as it is. It's as if the thing, whether it be an operating system, a room, a car or whatever, doesn't even BELONG to you. Am I just weird?

Anyway. My lovely laptop got a nice skin as well, also a new W2k-tan wallpaper. Pic tomorrow? Probably =)

Now I have about an hour if time to kill before last night's Daily Show has finished downloading *shivers with excitement*
Anywho.
Paid for Kou-chan today. I can go get him tomorrow at 3 PM. Yayness :D
The custom plate thingy was arranged as well. It's finally certain that I'll get it!
And I still think the car sales guy was kidna friendly. Mum was arguing the "it's just cuz you bought a car from him" thing again, but a) 5800 Euros prolly wouldn't save the place if it was near bankruptcy and b) giving them money is NEVER a reason AT ALL for ANY German sales person to be nice to you. 98% of them still treat you like shit or as though you're actually DISTURBING them even if you buy their whole goddamned market >:O

I never downloaded an episode of The Colbert Report. Because I knew I'd love it and grabbing both shows each day would've been a bit much.
However, I was certain that one day, I'd do it anyway.
Well, that day was today.
I had nothing else to get so I had a go at the first Report of the new year.
And now, I don't think I'll be able to live without the swooping eagle again. Whoops X_x
Before that, Stephen (the character) somehow scared me. But damn, he's good. His show is so bloody different to TDS.
Still, they're both amazing in their own way.

Crap, that's two hours of DLing per day. But y'know what? I don't think I'll ever regret this.
