Today, I showed mum the beginning of an episode of Qi. What? She asked for it! And then, she was upset about not getting anything. Er... the hell was she expecting??
She laughed about the buzzers, though ;)
Ah crap, only eight episodes left ;_;

BTW, I noticed that one episode of The Daily Show is only about 175 MB in size. That amount of data takes me about an hour to download. Which means that I'll be able to follow the show with a delay of one day only. Hail to BT :D

I really wanted to watch the joint Daily Show/Colbert Report episode from November 7, the thing they called Midterm Midtacular (*lol*).
That file was a bit bigger but I eventually got it. The show was really interesting and cool.
And that conversation in the middle... Well, I'll put it like this: If Jon/Stephen slash (Which idiot started calling that Stewbert, anyway? *is appalled*) hadn't existed before November 7, that skit certainly would've created it ALL ^_~

Heh.
Jon's such a beast. But he's so bloody charming as well. And he's got such a goofy, silly laugh. That man is just gorgeous *dreamy eyes*
On the other hand, Stephen Colbert is ten times more beast than Jon could ever be. So that one RPS fic where Stephen was abusing Jon really made quite a lot of sense, actually O_o

The first track on the fourth "Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~" character single is called "キーポン!キーポン!", which, if you romanize it, becomes "Keep on! Keep on!" (The characters are "kii", the dashy thing that lengthens the preceding vowel, "po" and "n". Not that you care or anthing ^^).
Somehow, I like that title a lot =)
BTW, Lovedol music is quite decent. I recommend it. Haruko "Squishy Squishy" MOMOI is in the show, too.
Which reminds me, I still need to watch the rest of "SUZUMIYA Haruhi no Yuutsu". Very, VERY weird show. But weird in a good way...
(I hope this entry didn't kill any browsers... Japanese characters and all that...)

I wish this whole story wasn't in German, but sadly, it is. On the other hand, I think I'd be a happier person if I didn't understand it.
Well, I'll try to explain it the best I can.
Anywho.
Today, Batz, my favourite German blogger (Gosh, I adore that man! The readers of my German blog MIGHT have picked up on that ^_^;;;) posted this entry about a German guy named Arne.
Arne is gay.
Which is not a problem.
Unfortunately, various members of his family seem to think otherwise. Especially his aunt.
She sent letters to other members of the family, asking for help in getting her nephew out of the terrible situation he somehow managed to maneuver himself into.
Luckily, they sent those letters back to Arne.
And he posted them on his Myspace blog.
I think those pages are some of the worst homophobic stuff I've EVER seen ANYWHERE.
It's the whole "Being gay is an illness that has to be vanquished", "All gay men are child molesters and will go to hell, but only AFTER we imprisoned them for their whole lifetime" thing. Written in a way that dim people might actually believe it.
Reading that stuff hurt like hell.
It made me want to cry and scream and destroy random things. At the same time.
It showed that while, from a technological POV, we might have arrived in the twenty-first century, the minds of a lot of people are still stuck somewhere in the deep Middle Ages.
And somehow, those people tend to be the so-called "religious" ones.
Right.
Somehow, I missed that connection between "belief" and "hate of minorities and people who are in some way different". Provided there is any at all.

I'll wrap this up by posting the Stephen Fry quote I used to reply to Batz's original entry:
Religion. Shit it.

Hallelujah. Not.
