- A new layout for my German weblog has been found, it just needs some customizing of colours 'n' stuff
- My sixth grader has been helped with her homework and reminded to improve on her goddamn vocabulary =_=
- New coke and mineral water has been bought
- Clean dish has been removed from the dishwasher
- Recent #nipponsei stuff has been downloaded or still is

That was my day so far. I feel like a house elf ^_~

Tonight, there's something called the Bundesvision Song Contest.
It's basically like the Eurovision one what with the voting and stuff, but - as the name might suggest - is a Germany-only thing.
So each Bundesland (Remind me, US people, how many of 'em do we have? That's right, sixteen ^^) sends a singer or a band with one song. Contrary to the modern Eurovision show, all songs on this one have to be sung in German. After the performances, people from all the Bundesländer vote for their favourite contestant and in the end, we also get the infamous point collecting sequence like in the original.
All of the candidates appeared on TV total (Stefan Raab's show, because the BuViSoCo is another wacky idea of his) and I have to admit that I hated 99% of them. There was far too much uninspired HipHop and Punk Rock stuff among them.
Luckily, we also have IN EXTREMO competing (with the German version of their song "Liam" from the Album "Mein rasend Herz" which is a beautiful and tragic tale indeed), so that means not only that I have to watch that four hours of rubbish, but I'm also planning to spend 50 cents on a text message voting for 'em.
But well, at least I'll be able note down some stuff about each contestant and write a nice, evil bashing article for my German blog, ehe >:D

And then, four hours of this stuff is still loads better than four minutes of Pop Idol and similar stuff. Trying to escape that is getting harder by the day because they seem to be getting close to some sort of final there. Those shows really hurt both my brain and my feeligns, but I don't wanna go into that now cuz there's still two driveways full of snow waiting for me =_=

€dit: Added Wikipedia links about TV total and Stefan Raab. Didn't know there were English ones available, so now you'll be able to find out what the heck I'm talking about. Not that you'd want to, eh? XD

Currently working on a new layout featuring Tobi in his new, adorable tour outift ^_^

Plus, our village is once again drowning in tons of snow. Will have to go outside and remove some of that soon...
