Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.

01 When I was about four years old, I had insanely long hair. But when I kept crying while mum was combing and unknotting it, she decided to have it cut. For the next several years, I had the most ugly haircut you could ever imagine.

02 The first CD I ever owned was an album full of Christmas songs sung by actors from a popular soap opera. That was in 1994.

03 I'm terribly allergic to chrome and nickel. It's one of the things I inherited from my mum. My hair and eye colour, however, are my dad's.

04 Both of my parents were technical drafters. They met when they worked in the same company Today, my mum's a housewife and dad's moved on to the sales department.

05 I used to spend whole nights sitting in my brother's room talking and laughing. That always was one helluva time ^^ I think other people thought we were weird because we hardly ever argued because apparently, that's what siblings are supposed to do. Rubbish!

06 The first real story I ever wrote was a Seiken Densetsu/Star Trek crossover (Don't ask O_o). That was back in seventh grade. I spent a lot of time on it and it eventually turned into a series of sorts. I still have those pages stored away in a folder in my parent's basement. I'd rather drop dead than throw them away.

07 My elementary school teacher had a tendency to praise my essays and read them to the whole class. My parents also read them to their friends. Apparently, language, be it German or English, has always been kind of "my thing".

08 I became interested in voice acting when I watched the German dub of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and fell in love with the voice of the guy who voiced Michael Palin. What I didn't know back then was that many years later, that very same guy was to become one of my most precious friends <3

09 As a teenager, I liked wearing platform shoes and really high heels. Unfortunately, I twisted my ankle a lot since I'm clumsy as all hell. These days, I tend to avoid heels mainly for that reason (and also because I happen to have a lot of short friends *lol*).

10 I've been wearing glasses since second or third grade. I'm too stupid to use contacts and I actually think I look better with glasses on.

11 For years and years, I've been the corrector for my family when it comes to letters, emails and schoolwork.

12 I've been puked on by my best friend in sixth grade. I guess that's why I'm more grossed out by those things than the average person. I wouldn't go as far as to call it a phobia, but I certainly try to avoid anything related to throwing up if I can.

13 For my 18th birthday, my mum gave me a huge photo album full of pictures of me, starting from when I was born up to the most recent pics. She'd made it secretly in the basement and it took her quite a bit of time.

14 I used to hate the way I look. These days, it's gotten a lot better, though, and I've found quite a few things I've come to like about my appearance.

15 These days, my warderobe has been almost entirely reduced to black stuff. I'm still trying to get rid of some pieces I don't want to wear any more, but that's what eBay's for, right? ;)

16 I'm also planning to try my hand at DIY accessories, Japan style (like this). I already bought a ton of safety pins, some lace, net fabric and pendant-y things. Now I just need a few yards of chain to really get started.

17 Apparently, I have a bit of a reputation as a person who likes to introduce people to new stuff. However, lately, it's been done TO ME a great deal by a certain guy ;)

18 I love being called a geek or nerd. I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I'd rather be a nerd than one of those people whose only hoobies are "hanging out" and drinking until they forget their own name.

19 Several of my frieds live 300 to 5.000 miles away from me ;_;

20 After seeing the movie "Jurassic Park", I became very interested in dinosaurs. This actually lasted for several years. I bought a weekly magazine, books, figures and whatnot.

21 My first crush on a somewhat public person was Jason David Frank who played Tommy Oliver (Green/White Ranger) in the Haim Saban Power Rangers series. That was in 1993/94.

22 I have an intermediate proficiency certificate in Latin (obtained in 2002) and a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (2007).

23 My taste in music has always been crazy and all over the place. I can't help it, I just like what I like. Fuck genres ^_~

24 I've had my nickname since 1996, even though we didn't have internet back then. Instead, I used it as a pseudonym for my writing. It comes from a character in another series of stories who in turn was based on me. So I suppose Jessy hals always been Jessy in a certain way ;)

25 My favourite fairy tale is "The Selfish Giant". I read it when I was small and found it strange and enchanting like almost nothing else. Only years later I found out that it was written by the guy who had become one of my favourite authors in the meantime: Oscar Wilde.
