Right now, I'm sitting here in a very crumpled skirt and a very crumpled spaghetti strap top. I'm just not bothering with ironing in this heat *wipes sweat*

Well. I just got Super Eurobeat Vol. 177 and while I was listening to it for the fist time, I wrote down what I thought. Just to annoy you with it ;)
Here we go.
(BTW, the thing in brackets is the label that produced each song)

01 Daniel - One more try (Delta)
I like the lyrics, the song itself is kinda mediocre. However, it might grow on me, who knows? Anyway. It's nice to see a guy singing about a lost love for a change ;) Plus, he's got a more than decent voice... whoever he is O_O

02 Wendy White - Take away (Time)
*snores* Okay, it's well done from a musical standpoint, but the melody is just... duh *snores*

03 Mark Astley - Iron man (Delta)
Intro: Amazing. Riff: Boring. Verses: Good. Chorus: Lovely. Bridges: Brilliant. Conclusion: Gotta like it ^_~

04 Nuage - Singing on the stars (A-Beat C)
Pretty, trance-ish intro that leads into a medium-speed riff. Everything about this track is very typical for Nuage. Overall, it's really beautiful, but certainly no second "Carry on carry on". And to be frank, I have my doubts she'll ever be able to beat that one. Nah...

05 Kelly T - Come baby love me (A-Beat C)
Aaand yet another reminder why I prefer the guys's stuff oh so very much *yawns and skips to next track*

06 Kiki & Fancy - Go bananas (SCP)
Oh my, Kiki & Fancy. I never liked them. Sounds too much like SCP's attempt to be Hi NRG Attack. Sorry, doesn't work :P

07 Fastway - Crash boom burn me up (SCP)
ZOMG, Fastway *falls to floor and worships* Holy damn, he keeps putting out stuff that beats everything else into whimpering submission >:D His voice sounds really awesome on this one! *worships some moare* ^^

08 Cyberella - I am Cyberella (HI-NRG Attack)
Oh, thank you, it's one of those utterly unlistenable intros again. I was wondering when one of them might come up. And the rest of the song... no comment =_=

09 Another life (Time)
So they're doing the disco thing again? That's a bad idea cause those usually turn out real tedious. Er... same with this one. Bleh.

10 Alexis - Night prayer (Time)
Well, she can sing. That's for sure. Too bad that the people beside her can't compose XD

11 Powerful T. - Dangerous love (A-Beat C)
It's Roberto Tiranti. And he's doing another song that's far too bad compared to his older ones. Goddammit, what's wrong with A-Beat C these days??

12 Candy Taylor - Fly (Delta)
Niiice synth stuff in there. And the intro lasts forever. Considering the standard SEB 177 has been displaying thus far, I guess this is pretty good O_o

13 Kasanova - What kind of cure (Delta)
Awww, pretty melody! And cute lyrics! The riff is decent as well. Me likey =)

14 Garcon - Hannibal the cannibal (HI-NRG Attack)
HI-NRG Attack save the day, please? Deliver a breathtaking song while everyone else is mostly screwing up? Yes! Yes!!! And once again, they did it. Well, I do know why they are my favourite label ^_^

15 Leslie Parrish - King of heart (Delta)
I should make a list of "songs that feature moaning". Just to avoid them cuz they're w.e.i.r.d. That's all I have to say about this one. Geez O_O;;; Moving on.

16 Dave Rodgers - Watch out (A-Beat C)
The boss is doing his thing again. And well, this once again explains why he's so important to the genre *cuddles precious Giancarlo* Er... yeah. Awesome guitar stuff :D

17 Pink in the pink (SCP)
WTF@the lyrics. Otherwise, pretty good.

18 Manuel - Ready steady go! (A-Beat C)
One of those few people who rarely disappoint: My almost-namesake. Once again, amazing stuff coming from him. And isn't he an awfully talented singer compared to many other Eurobeat artists? *adores* This should be featured in some upcoming Inital D series. Totally.

Overall: Well, I'm not expecting a second Vol. 173 anytime soon. This one has a few highlights but tons of useless crap, much like 175 and 176 did. So... I'mma grab the good ones and see what'll happen next in Eurobeat country =)
