Yesterday, the login at Mobilcom (The company I get my phones and subscriptions from since, uh... 2000?) didn't work.
But I'm kinda used to that (In 2005, their entire online shop was suspended for several months and I had to cancel my old subscription and buy a new one on the goddamn phone =_=) so in the evening, I tried again.
And they told me I'll be able to renew my subscription starting May 5. Well, that's about the time I estimated (18th month of subscription running time) which is good.
Once that day comes - And crap, I hope it'll hurry the fuck up XD - I'll be able to select a new phone, extending my subscription time by another 24 months.
A lovely N73 costs 119 Euros which is... uh... a bit much. Well, it's 499 (!) without a subscription, but still.
This is where Roku-chan, my trusted 6230i comes in.

So what I'm gonna do is:
- Borrow money from myself XD
- Buy N73 at 120 Euros (or more, depends on what Mobilcom wants for the bugger)
- Sell 6230i which will get me about 100 Euros (I checked eBay and that seems to be about the normal selling price. Maybe I'll get even more since I'll add all the extra crap I bought over the years, like the 1 GB memory card)
- Live happily ever after *rofl*

I just sent them a mail to ask whether the 119 Euros is really correct. Yama told me that if you renew your subscription instead of getting a new one, you have to pay more for the same phone. At least that's what his phone company does. But he also said the difference is only 20 Euros and if that's the case, I'm still gonna take it *nod nod* It's a N73, goddammit, and I'm not giving away the chance to own such a marvelous beast!!

And even if this whole deal falls apart, a N70 will be awesome, too ;)

Finally, two words about Mobilcom.
Their online shop and customer service is dismal. They completely fucked me over three years ago. I had to pay an extra 13 Euros for two years. For what? For nothing. Just because their online shop didn't do what I told it to do.
But (And this is a huge but) the stuff they offer is awesome. So I'll prolly be stuck with them either until I die or they go bankrupt (which nearly happened once *coughcough*)
