All my homepages are down and there is - at least theoretically - some possibility that this was induced by me ;_;
I want those Bernd das Brot DVDs! And I want a Bernd plushie, too! Bernd das Brot is one of the funniest things ever ^_^ And it's so cool that ex-"RTL Samstag Nacht" comedian Tommy Krappweis conceived the character of Bernd. I was wondering for some time what that guy might be up to these days. So, after he became famous with Samstag Nacht, he invented Bernd das Bro tand became super famous ^o^ And the thing even won a Grimme Preis (That's one of the most important TV awards in Germany) this year. Well, looks like they did it!
KIKA (formerly known as Kinderkanal, the kids' channel broadcasting Bernd das Brot) is airing one of my favourite cartoons (as a kid and today) once again: Count Duckula. Anyone remember that? God, I loved that stuff back in the early Nineties. But the humour is good enough to grab an adult's attention as well, and don't make me start on the fantastic German dub starring some people I absolutely adore (Ilja Richter, anyone? He voiced Mike in Monsters Inc.!). People who have watched the original as well say that the German version is much better °_° The biggest fansite about the series is German as well, here.
I'll have to make some Bernd das Brot/Duckula icons. Because I love them both XD
And now would someone please get that stupid webserver running again? I need to install something, man -_-
