So Yama and his co-worker swapped cars last Monday. They have the same model so that's not a problem.

Anyway.
It was Halloween, prolly around 8:30 PM. We were driving on the autobahn, on the way to a nice time at Yama's place.
Suddenly, the right of the car's front side started making weird noises. While we were still busy looking at each other, there was a huge BANG and the engine was dead.
Luckily, we were close to a parking lot so we just rolled there.
It was dark, cold and raining and we were standing on a parking space next to the autobahn waiting for the service guy to come. And we hadn't even been halfway there.
That was fun. Especially when the service lady on the phone asked Yama whether he had tried restarting the car. Well, try he did and... all the electricity went OFF.
So we were in the dark and next thing the lady said was she needed some number from some service book. So I used my cellphone as a torch *lol*
Luckily, the Nokia 6230i is almost too bright to be normal ;)
When the service guy came and had tried to restart the car in vain, he picked us up and drove us all the way home even though he didn't have to. Awww, how nice ^_^

Well, so Yama's big fat Renault Megane Grandtour is busted (the engine is unusable because a connecting rod ripped) and the poor guy has to drive around in a tiny Renault Clio now *lol*

Fun. My mom & I had that happen when I was younger. Amazingly enough the car broke down right next to a Park & Ride lot. So we just took the bus back home.
