Which is a good thing. Sometimes.
Because that's the reason why I got the new Sabaton album "Attero Dominatus" (release date is the 28th).
Yeah, bad and evil and stuff, but I really, really wanted to know whether they'd be able to keep up the quality of Primo Victoria.
Long story short: This feelsa bit a lot like PV all over again and boy do I want them to do this for the next twenty years ;)
The title track (What did I hear? They'll be shooting a video for this? Neat :D) already shows where the thing is going. Sabaton exactly as I love them, only sounding even better O_o
I think the only song that's a bit weaker is "Nuclear attack". That was the one they played when I saw them in February and already then I knew it won't be good on CD either.
But apart from that? Utter Power Metal madness. Guitars and awesome keyboards and Joakim's cool voice and aaaahhhhhh *thud*
The intro of "Metal Crüe" made me laugh. I've never head such high-ptiched screaming from Joakim *lol* He should do that more often.
Yes, I like Sabaton. A lot.
And this CD just made it worse ^_^
€dit: Speaking of "Metal Crüe", I dunno if anyone knows that, but on Primo Victoria, Sabaton did a song called "Metal Machine" whose lyrics were made up entirely of titles of famous Rock and Metal songs. This time, they did the same with band names. Funny :D (Gamma Ray is in it, too!)
