Just finished ripping and encoding "Alive '95" (a.k.a. Teh Weird Live Album ;P) which arrived yesterday. Now my collection of "Kai-relevant" CDs sould be complete.

But that's not what I wanted to tell you. I know that when I gave the link to that Gamma Ray promo video thingy to hun I thought that this might've been a mistake. But now I have to say that it bloody wasn't =)
On Friday, quite to my surprise, the one to start talking about it was not me, but him. And here's what he said:
Of course, he thought the way the two boys kept grinning during the interview (and during parts of the acoustic set was well) was rather stupid. But then, Henjo was more of a problem for him than Kai O_O He liked the acoustic songs (he knew "Send me a sign" and it looks like he preferred the new version ^_^;;;) and said that Kai has a great voice (!) What made me uber happy was that he seems to love "Kojo no tsuki". Actually, he said something like "Even I melted away during that one", and he agreed on the fact that Kai's pronounciation was excellent.
When I said soemthing like "So you think he practised that a lot?" he answered "No, you can't practise something like that. Kai sang that song like the old Japanese did, and I think he just has that in him." Woah, now THAT was some compliment, especially coming from our Yamasagi, the biggest hardcore otaku I know X_X
We then laughed about some of the funny things that happened during the set and he asked me to cut the "Kojo no tsuki" part from the video and send it to him so he can re-watch just that.
That won't be a problem as I'm planning to work with the video a bit (like, cutting it into pieces, making mp3s and screenshots from it etc.).
Anway, that was nice and kinda reinforced my thoughts of being engaged to the greatest guy in the world ^_^

I'm still downloading those two Gamma Ray bootlegs from http://cdonpc.ru/. They only let you grab three tracks per day unless you pay, so I'm being patient there. Registering with the site was a bit tricky as I'm not REALLY able to read Russian. But I've mastered websites in Chinese, English and some other unusual languages, so I finally figured this one out as well ^_~

Tonight and tomorrow, there'll be a big movie about the big flooding of Hamburg in February 1962. When I first heard about that event and read the year 1962, I was actually stupid enough to do some research and find out the exact day this happened. Well, Kai was born on January 17, 1963, so chances would've been for him to having been created during the biggest flooding in German history. Imagine that and how it'd fit to all the water imagery connected to his name in various languages O_O But if you count back nine months, you'll find that it didn't happen that way. What a pity :|

Okay, enough crap for now. C ya ^_~

Yeah I didn't even recognize him in the first one when I originally purchased this magazine last year. It wasn't until I looked at the bottom, that I realized it was him :)
