I'm so stupid, stupid, stupid!!!
In the beginning, it sounded like a good idea. I ordered two Edguy albums (this year's "Hellfire Club" and three year old "Mandrake") from amazon.de and told them to send them to hun. That way, mum wouldn't shout at me for spending money because she won't know that I bought 'em. And as they would've been be delivered on Saturday I could've picked them up at the weekend (I told you that hun lives one and a half hours away, didn't I?). All good and well, you think?
Well, there was one crucial thing I forgot: Saturday is May 1st, and therefore a fucking holiday which means that simply nothing will be delivered on that day. Now hun will probably get the CDs on Monday and I'll have to wait until my next visit to get them. And that is... in two weeks! I can't change my order anymore cuz they're already about to ship the stuff, so screw the whole incident! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhhh!!!! I'm such a moron!!!
But there has been one thing that cheered me up for like, the whole damn day: Tobi's newest entry in his tour diary! There have been three more "accidents" and one of them is almost too cute to be true. So, here goes another quoting session, ha!
When I was on my way to Stuttgart I realized that I was on a wrong train. A lot of improvisation and I arrived at the LKA Longhorn 15 minutes before showtime.
Wait a sec... Tobi actually goes by train? Wow, I should use public transport more often, hehehe.
I wanted to do a jump but a milli-second later I found myself in the air, with both legs up, losing balance. One of those moments when you know: Oooops, that's gonna end embarassing. I felt like a buck on its back lying on stage a moment later. But the crew told me that it looked like an intentional stunt. Great...
Sounds typical. Tobi lying on his back? Strange picture °_° Would've caught him if I'd been there, though *lol*
Another stupid thing was little Tobi fighting against a micro stand and getting beaten up by it. Unbelievable, my cheek is still a bit swollen.
God, how cuuuuute!!! I've been trying to distract myself from that for almost seven hours now. Tobi with a swollen cheek. And he called himself "little Tobi" Awwwawwwww....
Also, the bonus tracks on "Lavatory love machine" - the single - have been posted on Edguy's lovely message board.
1. "Reach out" - a ballad. I can't help myself, but the title sounds like another tear-jerker from genius Sammet. Hooray! Maybe I should do some crying in advance, ahem ^_^;;;
2. "I'll cry for you" - a cover of Europe. I think I'll have to listen to the original soon, as I don't know it at all...
3. Acoustic version of "Lavatory love machine". They already played that on a TV show and it sounded fabulous, quite apart from Tobi looking the prettiest ever when he was singing. I wish I could digitalize that and make screen shots *sniffle*
Talked to lil' bro about some shopping at Nuclear Blast. Seems he wants another band shirt and so we'll be able to split the shipping fee. Cool, one package that we're gonna open together *glomps bro* And "Avantasia part 2" and the "King of fools" EP will soon be mine!
*looks at email inbox*
Wow, someone actually requested "Reckless fire" from s.CRY.ed! That's one of my favourite anime openings ever! I love my visitors! And I love the job as a webmistress, even though I tend to sound a bit annoyed now and then ^_^;;;
One last thing: All the best to Dana, my private pupil. She'll be writing a class test tomorrow. Good luck with the tornados ^_~
