Okay, so I had one or two good ideas and here are the results.
This one is old, I know. The picture was stolen from Tobi's official website a.k.a. the site where the guestbook script doesn't work properly >_< Anyway, nice one and the text conveys some truth as well...
So this was not stolen but instead scanned from my very own copy of Avantasia part 1. It can be found on the last page of the booklet. Just you wait until I am able to lay my hands on the second Avantasia album, ehehehe...

Mmmmmhhhh, this turned out extraordinarily well. I already posted the original drawing a while ago. For the LJ icon, I added some lyrics from "Farewell", one of the actual songs in Tobi's Metal Opera.
This came from another fanart, to be more precise, from the wallpaper I mentioned some time ago. How pretty. I wish I could paint like this.
And now... the most pathetic icon I ever made ^_^;;; It combines the picture from the back of the Avantasia 1 booklet (once again scanned by yours truly), my perception of Tobi as some sort of supernatural being and a song that really exists, "Fallen angels" from the 2001 Edguy album "Mandrake". Terrible, isn't it?
