It's always the same, isn't it? Tech stuff giving up on me, I mean. And JUST when the comp things were settled...
It looks like the MMC card in my cellphone was damaged. It can neither be read nor formatted. Probably a victim of my corrupted USB controller (part of the southbridge). Hun's my last hope, if he can't do anything, and I don't think he can, I'll have to buy a new one. Ah, useless spending of money...
Well, now that I discovered what I call the Nokia 6230i card reader lie* I might just as well get a 1 GB card. They're dead cheap these days and that way, all of my mobile memories (USB stick, cellphone, mp3 player) will be up to the same size.
But that also means that until then, I can only take very few pictures with it. The phone itself has about 23 MB of internal memory and 5 are already full. So that means... space for about 40 photos *sigh* Well, better than nothing. But the fact that the card reader has no card to read also means that my only way of transmitting them to my comp is via my laptop and IrDA which is dead slow. Damn.
Heh. No matter how annoying this is, it does remind me of
arrys_girlie's newest story "Send me a Sign". Hot stuff :)~~~
* I was told that the Nokia 6230i cellphone can only read MMC cards up to 512 MB in size. But now, they're selling a music addon kit for this particular model that has a 1 GB card. Weird, huh?
PS: Speaking of Carson Beckett, I accidentally watched a few seconds of dubbed Stargate Atlantis last night. Nearly made me throw up. I'm a hundred percent sure that whoever selected the voice actors has never watched the original. I've never seen such a mismatched cast of voices. They had nothing to do with the real characters. This dub is a complete and utter shame for everyone involved and the whoole country T___T
PS 2: Upload status: 16 of 19 tracks (79 of 101 MB). The Max torrent has been dead slow so I decided to get on with the GR tracks instead. My, I should start doing the translating soon...
