Geek's joke of the day:
There's a PC game called Soul Link. Its opening song is called "Not found". On the single disc, there's a special mix called "404 mix" XD
It looks like Tokyo Toshokan's domain has expired. Fortunately, they now have a .info domain as well (http://tokyotosho.info/). Without looking up stuff at their site once in a while (read: All the bloody time XD), the 'net just isn't the same ^^
Last night, I opened my computer to a) rescue my TV card (one of the few things that I'm gonna keep) and b) check if my power supply has an extra plug for the motherboard. If it didn't have one, I would've needed an new one but luckily, that's not the case.
My, HAL9200's inside is dusty like hell. Unfortunately, it was already kidna darkish and so the pics I took turned out to be unusable. Well, maybe next time.
I also seem to have managed to put my finger on what's wrong with him. At least the symptoms fit: PCI cards and USB ports having random malfunctions, DVD drives not being recognized all the time. This looks suspicously like a damaged southbridge.
It could be due to the thing heating up too much, but that'd be kinda unusual, so I guess it's just old age.
Oh well, I don't really care anymore.
Coming right up: Yet another prog REC...
