Story 1
This morning at approximately 9 AM (*yawn*) I got a SMS from hun saying "Are you awake?" XD I answered "Well, I am now". And then he called me and the dialogue was something like this.
Jessy: "What's up?"
Yama: "I got a TV set for you"
Jessy: "...huh?"
Yama: "I got a TV set for you"
Jessy: "... for free, just like that?"
Yama: "Yes"
Jessy: "There must be a catch to it, somewhere"
Yama: "There is none"
Jessy: "None at all?"
Yama: "No. Okay, it doesn't have a tuner, but you don't need one. Apart from that, it has built-in Dolby Surround, can display NTSC mode and the screen is 66 cm (about 26'')"
Jessy: "Wow... if I awake right now, I'll be really angry"
... and so on. Well, I didn't awake until now. Where that free TV appeared all of a sudden? Apparently, a load of came in and should have been used as monitors for some customers of the company Yama works for. But somehow, they weren't needed after all. Yama's co-worker took one as well, and Yama decided to get one for me because he already has a nice, big TV. Now isn't that amazing? That 26'' thing is almost exactly double size compared to my current one. And playing PS2 on that will be the greatest thing ever! Hun will come here tomorrow and bring it along. God, I'm excited ^_^ And I also asked him to help me reconnect all the stuff (DVD player, PS2, video recorder) to it because I don't get how to do it in a way that the signals aren't disturbing/blocking each other. Hun also said that if the TV has a problem they'll get it repaired in no time as they still have plenty of replacement parts. Girls (and certain guys, too, of course), get an electronics guy as your boyfriend, it's worth it *lol* Nah, just kidding ^o^;;;
Story 2
I love my bro! Okay, that's nothing new I guess, but today, not only I got a post package. He also had one, which was quite big. When mum and I asked him what it was after lunch, he pointed to a shelf in his cupboard. And theyr we saw... a 1'' spike stud one-row necklace and a 1'' spike stud, three-row bracelet. Mum was like "But they're not for you, are they?" and he said "Yes, they are". Next, she: "But you're not gonna wear them at school! and he was like "Not the necklace I won't, but I'll definately wear the bracelet". Of course, I was happily surprised and tried to talk mum out of getting angry. She asked whether those spikes have any meaning and whether they're only worn by Goth people or have any connection to Heavy Metal. Well, we TRIED to explain, but I don't know whether we succeeded ^^;;; Oh, and she asked whether anyone else in his grade wears them. And then, bro mentioned the name of a girl mum really likes/respects and that did somehow silence her. For now. But maybe she'll do what she always does when she's at her wit's end... tell dad and send him to get things "right". I hope not but if she does, I'll be there to help *clenches fists* For it's the coolest thing ever that bro wants to wear that stuff too ^_^
BTW, this is where he bought the stuff. Good prices, they have. I think I'll get something from there, too. The same necklace bro has and another bracelet, probably a 1'' spike stud two-row one. They have really decent pricings =)
It also looks like I finally figured out how to imporove my BT download performance. I'm using ABC again and managed to open some ports thanks to this little helper. Sukisyo 10, 11 and Bishi Vol. 31 are downloading at STUNNING speed now ^_^
