I just got the following email:
What kind of sick rule is that?
I mean, I know what they're saying, but how am I supposed to distinguish the Valkyrie fan listing from the Valkyrie music fan listing using 50x50 pixels?!?
Alright, I'm sick of that crap.
First thing tomorrow: Close ALL of my fan listings. Finally. Saves me web space, nerves and redoing the outdated layouts when I don't have the slightest motivation to do so. Bleh.
And then, the multiple problems I kept having with both the people who run the listings directory and the morons trying to join have long eradicated any fun I might have gotten from owning and running the damn things. These days, it's just a bunch of teenagers annoying the crap outta me by not getting the goddamn join rules. I think I'll be happier once I got rid of that.
In the future, if I really like something, I'll make a fan site about it. It's less nerve-recking and there are no wannabe-dictators sitting in ma neck trying to inflict nonsense rules upon me.

The Music category at The Anime Fanlistings Network recently received a
site check of all the fanlistings listed in it, and we found a problem
with your Enban Oujo Valkyrie (UFO Princess Valkyrie): Music Of
fanlisting. The specific problem was:
We found that some of the codes (buttons) you provide for members to link
back with are ambiguous as to what subject your fanlisting is for.
Although this rule has always been in place, it is something that has been
sporadically enforced until quite recently. For this reason, we are giving
fanlisting owners a grace period of ONE MONTH to fix the problem and to
reply to this email letting us know that you have fixed the problem. If
after one month the issue has not been fixed, your fanlisting will be
placed on the troubles list and you will have the standard one week to fix
the problem before your fanlisting is removed.
If you have any questions about this email, or the problem has already
been resolved, please feel free to contact us by replying to this message.
