Okay, something hgighly postice to get my mind off that goddamned flag.

You probably know that I bought that new laptop battery.
And I said Kan-chan runs for about 2:20 when he's being powered by it.
As I love experimenting with my stuff, I did another one today. I reduced the LCD brightness to level 3 (out of 7). At that rate, everything is still perfectly readable and doing that would probably tell me how much energy the LCD lighting uses up.
It turned out that it's a bloody lot indeed. When I booted Kan-chan on reduced LCD brighness, the battery program said "5:xx hours left". Of course I was like, "Heh. Yeah, sure. You're kidding me, right?"
Well, after two hours, the battery was at 60%. So nope, it wasn't kidding me. Wheee~!

What exactly does that mean?
It means that my baby uses up about 16 Watts at full load, 11 when running on reduced LCD brightness.
Consider this: There are light bulbs that use up 60 Watts and more.
Holy crap.
When I told hun that - and let him calculate it again so that he believes me cuz at first, he didn't - he was like "Gosh, how do they do this?". And I was proud like nothing else :D

I love my Kan-chan to tiny, black, glittering pieces (cuz his surface actually looks like that, awww <3 <3 <3)!

BTW, I'll try and get a new flag over the weekend. They should be available somewhere around Yama's place, or at least I hope so *prays*

I'm feeding mum House episodes on VHS.
Okay, it's only the dub but it's not bad. It got me hooked on the series, so it can't be bad. And Dieter Klebsch (German voice actor for House) is doing a good job even though his voice is far too low and he sometimes overodes it a bit in terms of harshness. But otherwise, he's really got a lot of talent for the evil cheekiness that is House :3
Anway, today, mum quoted her fave lines from the latest episode (1x08 Poison). Success, I guess ^_^

I got an Austrian friend of mine to take a look at the series.
She said this might be the first time ever we agree on a guy. Bloody hell, that's one cool piece of news O_o

At least I got some more of that sunflower seed chocolate lying around.How would Hosue describe it?... yummy. He says that in both 1x01 and 1x02, did you notice that? Maybe the script writers agreed with everyone else. It just sounds too hot to only have him say it once :)~~~
