... was craptastic.
Not only did my computer parts NOT show up (Heh. As if Trans-O-Flex had ever bothered visiting such a place at the weekend) which means I'll have to wait until tomorrow (=_=), but somewhere around 6 PM, our itnernet connection broke down. Great fun. Not.
The weird thing was that our DSL modem said it was connected all right but the line was still dead like a very dead thing. ATM, it looks like it decided to work again.
And why the heck was I that tired? Lucky I didn't drink any beer or I might've been in bed at 7 PM >:|

*sigh* Anyway.
Some positive things to get things balanced again:

- Had great fun with teh family sitting around outside and chatting
- Watched tons of Max Headroom which still rocks
- Managed to download that little surprise and am now uploading it so you can grab it later
- Mum's birthday present arrived (More about that in a freidns-only post later)
- Found a 32 bit copy of WIn XP with added Service Pack 2

Yeah. Guess that's all for now. C ya in a coupole of hours ^___^

Just found on the Gamma Ray message board (from fruitcellar, who attended the concert on May 4):
Me and my friends brought a sign that read,

"Hey Kai, 'how long'?
rhapsody - 2 inches
edguy - 5 inches
hammerfall - 8 inches
manowar - 15 inches
gamma ray - ???"

Now that made my noon, ehe XD

The same person also said that Kai was said to be ill. Again? Oh my, what's it with these singers? And I thought a lot of sex was good for your health. No, wait, it's also a known fact that no matter how positive the healthy effect of a certain thing may be, if you get too much of it, it gets reversed. Aha, that must be it ^_~ Okay, I'mma shut up now. Still, any further ideas into that direction (like I have to ask)? XD

The Pet Shop Boys, my favourite non-Metal band (of whom I probably have every damn CD, including a few doubles X_X) released a new single called "I'm with stupid".
Very beautiful and a lot closer to their classic stuff. I mean, I did like all the analogue guitar and drum stuff that was featued on their last real album "Release", but a lot of other people apparently didn't.
And their new album (called "Fundamental" and thus continuing their one-word album name scheme) will be released on May 19. Where have I been? ^_^;;; Well, at least now I have a presumably great piece of music to look forward to *bounces*
Someone just MIGHT do a few PSB listening sessions this week ;)

Bro and I were talking about operating systems after dinner. It turned out that both our new computers might end up having like, four different OS installed on 'em *lol*
I have to make up some kind of partitioning plan soon. At least I already got myself a copy of Partition Magic 8.05.
Which reminds me... Bro told me that today, a friend of his was trying to chop up (the virtual way only, mind you XD) his HDD using a trial version of Partition Magic *rofl* Why's that so funny, you ask? Well, a trial version of said tool can basically do... well, nothig except look fancy. Its GUI works but the actual partitioning functions are disabled. THAT'S what's funny ^_~

Have I told you about bro's barebone specs? He finally managed to order his stuff, too, and if all goes well, those might show up here tomorrow as well.

So... his CPU is a 3700+, which is slightly better than mine. HDD and DVD-RAM are the same. Can't remember what mainboard he got, but the case is this. Pretty ^_^
