My USB hub came today.
And what's the ultimate geel challenge if it's about a 4-port USB hub? That's right, connect four devices to it and see if all of them work :D I was particularly interested to find out whether my tablet (y'know, the thing I use instead of a mouse) still gets enough electricity that way as my new USB hub is a passive* one.
So I grabbed all of the USB devices within my reach (tablet, mp3 player, USB stick, cellphone) and *drumroll* boy did it work ever so smoothly ^_^
* as opposed to an active USB hub, a passive one doesn't come with its own plug. So if the devices connected to a passive hub use up more power than the USB port itself can provide, you have a problem
To celebrate this moststupid unique event in the history of computing, I took a picture of the whole setup!
( Cut for 800x600 size pic and general geekiness )
In other news: I'm sleep-deprived as hell and therefore feel like a geek on coke. And no, I'm not talking about the Coke Light standing next to me O_o
PS: Kai is the hottest little thing in the universe. Old news, I know, but still. Those "Eagle" screenshots make me writhe...
