Did you know that I'm just incompatible with certain surveys? That one for example. The first question already killed me:
What artists are most likely to be on your playlist?

- Queens of the Stone Age, The White Stripes, Franz Ferdinand
- P. Diddy, Dru Hill, Monica
- Will Smith, Ciara, Mya
- Cake, Ben Folds Five, Foo Fighters
- Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan
- Pink, Kylie Minogue, Bowling for Soup
- The Postal Service, Fall Out Boy, Jet
- Dido, Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado
- Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Outkast
- Good Charlotte, Jimmy Eat World, Sum 41

Now where's my option - "None of those or I might have to jump out of the window"?

Okay, working on the next episode of you-know-what now ^_~

Last night, the Echo award took place. I guess it's the biggest German music award. One of the ppl who won an Echo was Madonna, but instead of showing up to get the thing she just sent a video. Mum actually asked me why! My answer was "Like Madonna cares about a German music award". I mean, the only international musicians that showed up had some new stuff to advertise, Shakira for example. And where was Robbie Williams? No sign of him either. Like those mainstream guys would waste their time taking part int such an event just to thank their fans when it doesn't get them more money or promotion for their new releases. No sir. For them, there are easier ways to get to their fans' money, like releasing bad music that's being bought anyway cuz it has their name on it or making videos that have them doing whatever naughty stuff helps to boost the sale of their single (Not that I didn't like "Hung up", but IMHO, the clip was just ridiculous).
Geez! I really do wonder why I keep watching those shows when they just make me angry >:O

Y'know, I've read a lot about old video game systems recently.
A few days ago, hun sent me a video. It was a Japanese commercial for the Famicom (NES, though if you've ever seen the Famicom, you know that they don't look exactly alike, ahem XD). I loved it and today, I searched for some more moving and talking game stuff from the Eighties ;)
Those are pretty interesting.
Did I say interesting? Sorry, I meant "weird to the point of being outright disturbing" O_o
And I thought Nintendo commercials were stupid. Well, they WERE (What could be more stupid than RAPPING about a video game?), but the Atari ones look even worse in some respect.
I guess one reason for that is the fact that they they made home computers as well and the way they overrate those in their commercials is just unbelievable (see "French tutor"). But looking at the Coleco ADAM (Wow! I always wanted to see that one in action :3) one, you realize that this was a common disease back then.
What also struck me was the pathetic Xmas commercial for the worst video game ever (*cough* ET *cough*). Dunno whether to laugh or to cry about it.
The "Atari VCS" (old name for the 2600) one cracked me up like almost nothing else (except maybe the Intellivoice one. They called THAT crap realistic voice synthesis? Oookay X_X) cuz it said that you can play the 2600 games on the 2600 only. Uh... no? Everyone who's a little knowledgeable about the 2600's history knows that there were myriads of clones of that system back then, and to me, the commercials sounds a bit like Atari knew than and tried to work against it by talking people into buying an original console.
Anywho, great stuff!
