Oscar wackyness

Bro, mum and me were sitting in the living-room. Suddenly, mum decided to check out all of the Oscar winners on the net. So she grabbed her notebook and started searching. But for some reason, she didn't manage to come up with anything useful. We offered our help a couple of times, but being the person she is, she refused. Bro and I kept wondering what she was doing wrong, when I had the absurd idea to ask the following question:
"But you didn't weire "Oscar" with a K instead of a C, right?
At that moment, mum hesitated, close to saying "No (she had already started the word, like "N...") and stared at her display. Bro and me looked at each other and exploded with laughter. Of course she had written "Oscar" with a K instead of a C, and that was why there were no search results on Wikipedia *dies*
Well, I finally made her open oscar.com and read the winners' list to us. Which was funny as hell. I've never heard such intersting variations of "achievement" and other words *lol*
I know, we're ebil, but we don't mean it *hugs mum* <3

Dresden movie

It seems like these days, the Germans really like to use their history to make big, soap opera-like two-part movies out of it.
Remember that one about the great Hambugr flooding in 1962 (and that strange Kai-related thing I researched in connection with it)?
Well, now, there's one about the bombing of Dresden in 1945.
And again, the historical setting just seems like an excuse to build a sappy love story on top of it. Which is something I like, so there ;P
The first part (aired last night) was good stuff already, even though it had one of the weirdest sex scenes. I kinda felt like in the middle of a strange piece of fan fiction. Dunno why, but that was the first thing that came to my mind O_o
Still, me liked, and in half an hour, it'll be time for part 2, yay =)

PS: I think I found out Kai's best side. Looks like it's his left *lol* More about that tomorrow, ehe XD
