"Rocket Ride" as the title of Edguy's upcoming album, is official. Official as in "Harmon said it is".
Well... guess we have to cope with it somehow XD

Got the email, our "Nightwash on Tour" tickets will be shipped shortly =)

Before I put the rest, maybe a bit of information for those who are relatively new to my LJ:
If I talk about someone named "KJ", you have to know that...
- His real name is Klaus Jürgen Deuser, nicknamed "Knacki". He got that nick from his sister when he was about five, and it does NOT have any meaning to it
- He turned 40 on May 28. He's married to an American and has at least one child (Damn *lol*)
- He is the host of a popular German stand-up comedy show called "Nightwash" and also tours the whole country hosting "Nightwash live" shows.
- He also produces and coaches other stand-up comedians.
- The first thing that comes to my mind when I see him is "Las Vegas", and for good reason.
- He is fucking handsome (black hair, dark blue eyes, usually wears a tuxedo) and dead talented for he's one of the few *real* entertainers left. In other words, he's funny, can sing and dance and a lot more.
- The thing that makes him stand out most is the fact that he's spontaneous. He loves to interact with the audience and sometimes, he can get really scary *lol* And believe me, I know what I'm, saying as I did see him live once in 2004 and will do so again on October 22 ^_^
- I know, this is a heavy thing to say, but I think he's the best (and the best-looking) comedian we have here in Germany ATM.

(For a very emotional and rather lively account of the first "Nightwash on Tour" show in 2004, click here. I know, there are quite a few typos left, but I'll eventually get round to correcting them - promise!)

I dug out ome of my VHS tapes containig various "Nightwash" TV shows. God, I wish I could take screenshots of those. KJ doing that Keanu Reeves/Matrix impersonation was really cool. Those sunglasses look nice on him. He was just missing the leather coat, but I guess that would've been too much (for me XD). Once, he even used the audience to crowd-surf onto the stage. That was really brave of him, considering they only have about two hundred people in there O_O

Once, KJ was a guest in Sarah Kuttner's show (stupid bitch =_=). He was really cute and nice, which scared me a lot cuz on stage, he's usually a mixture of "cool/sexy/charming" and "scary/evil/weird" *lol* And his outfit looked oh-so-casual considering he's always wearing a tuxedo (!) when doing "Nightwash". I loved it when he did a little stand-up and afterwards, Sarah said "Wow, that really fit to the stuff we were talking about earlier", and then he told her he had just made that up. In other words, he changed the introduction to his number to fit the topic of their conversation. Now if THAT isn't a real pro, I dunno what is. And it's true, I had seen him doing the same skit some time ago on another show, and it was very different back then. Which means that, unlike most of his colleagues, he doesn't learn his stuff by heart but has some sort of frame which he varies accordingly. Now, how cool is THAT?!?

And then, the way he likes to terrify the audience is just... mind-blowing. There was that one legendary "Nightwash" show which KJ started by announcing that he'll now select someone from the audience to do a little number with him. Of course, that number never happened. He just wanted to scare the people in there. So what he really did was start with "Of course, I select someone from the first row". Then, when people there were looking at him and getting terribly red, he'd switch to the second row, and so on. He even went into the back of the audience, explaining what he was doing and how this thing works. Impressing! And all the time, he was in "evil mode", meaning he was speaking with a really deep voice and grinning the way only he can. And I - never having seen something even remotely like this before - was watching this and I was like "Oh gosh, now this CAN'T be happening, can it?". I guess this was the second it made "BOOM" and I really started adoring him like almost nothing else, at least if you consider the comedy genre ^_^;;;

Oh dear, now how do I get out of THIS? Er... guess I can't *lol*
Now that I can have 100 user icons, I might dig out some of my KJ ones again... if I'm able to find them, that is. . .
