thisdyingmusic, stop saying you're computer illiterate, for I just spent most of my afternoon teaching Windows basics to a couple in their sixties XD By Windows basics, I mean things such as opening and closing windows, copying and deleting files, and the diffeence between left- and right-clicking. That was amazing, as those two don't even know the difference between a folder and a file ^_^;;; And it's almost amusing to see people making those typical begginner mistakes, like missing buttons while clicking *lol* But then, I like ruining the few nerves I have left if I get paid for it =)
We even installed all the drivers they were missing (printer etc.) and burnt a CD with digicam images. Hooray!
I guess my next big lesson with them will take place as soon as they get internet access, and I dunno when that's gonna happen.
For now, their homework is practise, practise and even more practise, for that's the only way to get used to a computer!
Wow, those 20 Euros so saved my life, as I'd been cutting really close otherwise. Now I'll be able to afford both issues of c't, and won't have to borrow any money from mum which I always hate to do =_=
Saturday is Harry Potter day ^_^ ... but then, I'll be at my fiance's place when the book arrives *lol* Never mind, holidays start next week, so I'll have plenty of time.
