Notebook stuff!

Okay, it's as good as settled.
I'm gonna get myself an used notebook for my birthday. Guess I'll simply collect my b-day and holiday money (probably around 250 Euros) and see what configuration I can buy with that. At the moment, I'm hoping for something like 600/700 MHz, 256 MB RAM and hopefully more than 10 GB HDD. Won't need more than that. A Fujitsu Siemens one like mum's would be spiffy.

Speaking of mum's notebook, she got it today. As I expected, she wouldn't even have been able to turn it on if I hadn't been around =_= Anyway, I showed her how to scroll and click, how to open the DVD-drive and I even helped her with installing Microsoft Office. It's a nice machine overall, the display is reflecting as little TOO MUCH which seems to be a problem with many newer notebooks and PDAs. It's very silent and has a nice, silvery look. Oh well, I hope she can make at least SOME use of it, and that's just what I keep telling her. "Be good with it or otherwise, I shall swoop down on you and be VERY evil" >:D
