Got some Eurobeat Disney today. They're really good ^_^

That being said, there's a certain problem I have when listening to those songs. Over here, everything Disney gets translated. As far as I know, most of the dubs are really decent, as the guy who's been doing them for the last fifteen years or something was the same one who translated "Monty Python's Flying Circus", which is one of the best dubs in German TV history. But still, sometimes, it's a bit hard to recognize song and/or movie titles. "Lady and the Tramp" - what the hell is that? Well, I knew by chance that this is the movie we call "Susi und Strolch", but that was pure luck O_O

But then, "Circle of life" still made me cry, even though it was in the wrong language AND Euro-fied. I think that "Lion King" was when I started crying over movies and/or music. What the heck, that sounds like I didn't have feelings before I turned 13 X_X

BTW, did you know that Disney stopped the production of full-length animated movies? Andreas Deja, one of their main painters (Yes, he's German and he mainly did character designs for the villains, like Scar in Lion King) said that on a late night talk show a few weeks ago. So now, they're concentrating on CGI movies as well. Oh dear O_O Even though I'm rather angry at Disney for not keeping up with the world of today and getting stuck in their old patterns (To me, that's the reason why their newer movies weren't really that successful), this still makes me a bit sad.
Somehow, they have similar problems like Nintendo these days. Both of them forgot to adapt to people older than seven and now they're struggling to stay on the market at all. And for both of them, I know it's their own fault, but it still makes me slightly depressed because both of them had a strong influence on my childhood. Oh well, what can you do...
