Fangirling overdose, anyone?

yamasagi is currently watching the finale of "Jericho", and after that, there'll be the one of "Blade". Since this is crap stuff I'm not interested in in the slightest, I might just as well sit here and tell you about 1x02 and 1x03 of Doctor Who, which I watched today.

First... uh... ZOMG Chris. So hot. I wanna *dies of drooling*
He's one of those people who are beautiful in an ugly way. Or vice versa. Well, y'know what I mean. To me, he's painfully, painfully handsome. I can't stop ogling him. Every cut to him makes me happy. He has a way of making me gasp just through his looks/gestures. Also, that wide grin? Frickin' infectious, if you ask me *happy place*

And then, his character. Nine. Last of the Time Lords.

Mostly, he almost pathologically cheerful, but sometimes, you get those glimpses of something much darker hidden underneath.
I mean, the scene in 1x02 where Jabe (the tree ^_~) told him she knows where he's from and tells him she's sorry about what happened... and suddenly, he's got tears in his eyes? I did choke something awful, even during the second time I watched it. Guhhh...
Also, he can do things. And he's not human. Which... er... makes him even more unbearably attractive to weird lil' me.
So... yep. I've been smashed into the wall by yet another devastating crush. And y'know what? I don't care ^_~

Oh, almost forgot to say something about the series itself.
Well, it is certainly made to have an old school flair, which, seeing how old the franchise is, is just the right thing to do. I mean, the TARDIS' interior is simply stylish, isn't it? =) The writing (and acting, of course) is really, really good, and I love the balance between serious storytelling, lighter moments and the whole series not taking itself seriously all the time. The BGM is absolutely unique. I want to use the theme songs as my ring tone rather badly right now ;)
The stories so far are really different and interesting. Hell, Charles Dickens saved Nine and Rose's life, how cool is that? Also, there was a rather cute moment between the two and a few seconds of Nine looking more stunning than ever, I'm planning to make a screen shot or two tomorrow.

Also, yamasagi can't tease any Doctor Who fan about silly-looking aliens. For god's sake, he loves Star Wars! How's that any better? *lol*

Yeah, so, I think this whole thing is beginning to have a huge impact on me. Which I don't mind for I'm a fandom victim and will always be ^_~
