Nothing to see here...
... just showing off my newest icon :D
My version of the O RLY meme, starring Q and Picard! *rofl*
Sorry, I know it's utterly stupid, but the idea just cracked me up so much that I HAD to do it XD
And then...
Star Trek: Borg.
A game, or rather, an interactive movie.
Starring Mr. "I'm just a guest star, but a guest star who appears everywhere all the time".
I doubt it ever came out over here.
And even if it did, it's probably too old by now.
Damn.

One of the best scenes is one of your death scenes when you make a mistake. On the Borg cube, if you make a mistake, it flashes to one of their assimilation tables (like Picard was one when he was made into Locutus). A Borg drone comes over and fits the mechanical eye to your socket, turns it on, and then comes into view.. it's Q as a Borg! He looks at you and goes, "Well, that was a mistake.."
Good stuff. The story is good too. Your parents died in the Borg battle of Wolf 359. Ten years later, you're on your Academy cruise and your ship gets diverted to stop a new Borg incursion. You're confined to quarters (to stay out of the way as a cadet), and you're sadly looking at pictures of your parents when Q appears, and offers to give you the chance to save your parents' ship by sending you back in time and putting you into the body of that ship's science officer. Neat!
When I got it, it came bundled with Star Trek: Klingon, another cool CD-movie game starring Gowron. The story starts in a Holodeck, where Gowron appears and thanks you for participating in the "Klingon-Federation Friendship Program," where the holodeck will take you into the daily life of an average Klingon soldier in the fleet.
What I thought was really cool about both of them was that they made it so when you lost, it wasn't just a menu, "Retry?" or whatever, but it was built into the game. You screw up in Borg, and Q snaps you back to a previous moment. You screw up in Klingon, and Gowron restarts the holodeck simulation.
Sorry to babble, but those were pretty fun games. Look for them on Ebay or something. Worth it if you can find them.

I hate you ;)
I've seen that pic of Q as a Borg. One word: Wow.
And the story sounds pretty cool...
