That is hard to believe. I just assumed you had heard what he sounds like on the show. Then again, you are in a foreign country and I don't know how many programs that are broadcasted in English. Probably not very many I'd imagine. Well, I'd say it's close to zero. But we have an extensive history of dubbing. Which unfortunately doesn't neccessarily say anything about the quality. Look forward to my TNG original VS dub observations! You have no idea how happy I am that there's things like multi-audio DVDs these days. And then, when I first had that crush on John I was thirteen years old and had had about two years of English classes. So even if there had been any un-dubbed TNG available, I wouldn't have understood much of it. That being said, I mastered the first Zelda game on the NES without getting ANY of it because back then games were not being translated ;)
