Eurovision Song Contest 2005 recap





Well, we got last place - and I'm truly happy about it. That way, that corrupt manager asshole hopefully won't try cheating his way into the competition again.
Anyway, there were an awful lot of great songs yesterday, even our German commentator (the almighty Peter Urban XD) said that. Some interesting Folk stuff and also nice ballads. I didn't really like the winner from Greece, but most of the other artists who got top ten really deserved the points they got.
So, what should we improve next year? I do have one suggestion: Send a good, real, brilliant band for once: Edguy! AFAIK, they already asked their record label about that once. Maybe, if we fans request it, they'll try it again? Hey, it worked with that DVD, maybe we're lucky once more. Awww, imagine pretty Tobi putting up his usual show on such a boring event - I'd be DYING with excitement ^_^ And even if they lost in the national preliminary contest, it'd still be good advertising for the band. Nee, Tobi, come on *pokes*
Oh... now I know where Finland was - or wasn't. They got kicked out in the semi-finals, right? Ewgh T_T At least Kimi won the F1 race today - and that Schumacher moron got seventh *lol*

Yeah, we were kicked out in the semifinals. That really wasn't surprising at all. Finland has never really succeeded in Eurovision Song Contest and we have been in the last place quite often. xD Actually I didn't like Greece either. BTW, what did you think about Norway? :D
