I think this easily qualifies for "Most obscure album of the year".

Puncolle ~Voice Actresses' Legendary Punk Songs Collection ~

I swear I'm not kidding - It's a CD full of seiyuu-kawaiified Punk classics!
If you ever wanted to hear a chibi choir going "Sex... and violence"... No wait, I don't think anyone would want to hear that XDDDD
Even though it's only 400x400 px big, I put the cover under a cut because...

... because... )

Now, for those of you who actually want to torture themselves by listening to the CD; the original torrent is here.
I also threw the thing onto Megaupload here.

Enjoy... or not ^_~

This entry was brought to you by my -M-/Mathieu Chédid/weird music icon :D
- Finished my new blog layout in record time. And it turned out really nice, if you ask me =)

- Finally grabbed "Enson Vol. 2". Remember? I talked about it here and here. And since I already romanized the tracklist, the fact that the files I got were all in kana didn't matter at all *proud of herself*

I also added some claims to my profile. Have a look at the stuff (in the "omake" section), it's really amusing XD

ETA: I uploaded ENSON Vol .2 for the Nigihana community. Click here (Megaupload link)!
Alright, to make up for my current laziness, here's a lil' present for you!
I made them for my new iPod, so they're tested and working! Thought that maybe, someone would like these, too =)
Sorry about the watermark in the top left corner, I couldn't find a free converter that worked ^_^;;;

Episode 1 to 13:
(13 .mp4 files, 217 MB, packed size: 116 MB)

Episode 14 to 26:
(13 .mp4 files, 212 MB, packed size: 125 MB)

Enjoy ^_^
Nicked from [livejournal.com profile] rdyfrde :D

5) BONUS POINTS: Upload your mix (whether it's individual songs or a .zip of all the songs) and include the mix in your post.
6) MORE BONUS POINTS: Add the line around the 1:10 mark of at least five songs.

So, now, you too can explore the horrifying world that is my music taste XD As you can see, it is all over the place, like it's always been...

(J) Judas at the opera - Edguy [Superheroes EP]
(E) Everlasting song [Japanese edition) - FictionJunction ASUKA [Erementar Gerad]
(S) Spirit of the night - Daniel (SEB 188]
(S) Sign of the cross - Avantasia [The Metal Opera Part 1]
(Y) You only tell me you love me when you're drunk - Pet Shop Boys [Drunk single]

(Q) Question at me - HAYASHIBARA Megumi [Fuwari]
(U) Upstairs - Wolfsheim [Dreaming Apes]
(E) Eagle - Gamma Ray [New World Order]
(E) Edge - access [Best selection]

(E) Escapist - Nightwish [Bye bye Beautiful single]
(K) Kimi ga tame - Suara [Utawarerumono]
(S) Sprial galaxy - HAMADA Mari [Reflection ~Axiom of the two Wings~]

Ah, that was fun. Actually, I could've easily posted two songs per letter. Maybe I'll re-do this thing some day...
Anywho. Downloads. I've put all the songs in one file because I'm a lazy bum. You can grab it here (right click + "save as") (.zip/86.8 MB, all songs in .mp3/128 kbps).
If anyone just wants any one of the songs without having to get the whole archive, just tell me. I'll gladly upload it for you!

... No, I'm not doing the 1:10 mark thing. Even I am not that crazy ^_~

PS: Be glad I spared you "Belleville rendez-vous". And that's just because I forgot :P
The new (fourth) Slayers TV series is just around the corner.
And already, we got a few small sneak-peaks of the new music. Guess what? That's right, I uploaded them for you!

Contents of the zip file... )

BTW, in case you're curious, I got all of those songs from the new "Slayers Megumix" CD. It's a nice compilation of all the songs Megu-chan has sung for the classic franchise. Highly recommended for both old and new fans ^_^
Also, how do you like my Lina icon? I usually don't like it if a picture looks washed-out/blurry, but in this case, it fits.

Yesh. It seems like my Munich plan is finally taking shape. I just need to hear back from Soulbrother once more. Guess I'll keep you posted, eh? :3

And now... soccer ^^

This afternoon, [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi and me had a little fun fooling around with his new, black RC Dalek and the video function of his digital camera.

... have the two definitive highlights from the new Super Eurobeat Vol. 179!

track 15 Mega NRG Man - Red light and sex
I heard people were praising this one over the moon before I got it, so of course I was wondering whether it's really that good. Well, it is. The chorus just blows me away every time. Certainly the best Mega NRG Man song in a long time.

track 17 Remy Panther - On the road again to the show
I know it's hard to believe but this is one of the more serious tracks by Hi-NRG Attack. And IMHO, that style suits them just as well as the uber wacky one. The vocals are as cool as Eurobeat gets, and they fit the unusual (at least for the Hi-NRG label) racing topic. Also, note their musical trademarks - the howling guitars and the squeaking female backing vocals ^_^

(And yes, I know the Megaupload link says "SEB 178". My fault, didn't double-check. It is Vol. 179, tho.)

Didn't listen to it yet but I suppose it's very much in German *lol*
Just for the heck of it!

Kotipelto - Serenity Click! [320 kbps / 3:31 / 5.58 MB]

Title track from the upcoming (April 20) album. I know, I know, most of you don't like Kotipelto and/or Stratovarius. But I don't really mind them. And "Serentiy" is a nice song. Pretty simple but decent to listen to. And it reminds me of "Take me away" which is certainly a good thing.
I haven an inkling that I'll like the new CD quite a bit ^_^

Sonata Arctica - Paid in full Click! [320 kbps / 4:29 / 7.39 MB]

And a sneak preview of "Unia" (I already listened to the whole thing once, but I won't do it again until May 25, promise!!). This is the single that will be preceding the full CD (single release date: April 25).
Yeah, well. They sure didn't choose the best track for the single release. Believe me, there's stuff on there that did blow me away, but this wasn't quite it. But then, I didn't expect them to write a second "Don't say a word" anyway. We'll see. It's a good album.
So Yama finally folded and bought cat collars for Jiro and Tenchi.
They're blue (for Tenchi) and purple (for Jiro) with white fish bones on them.
I just hope they'll tolerate the things because it was getting more and more difficult to tell them apart O_o
And if all goes well, I'll take new pics of them during the weekend :D

Oh, and in case anyone wants this, I've uploaded it for [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi but feel free to help yourself as well:
(That's the full album version of Teyla's song, about four minutes long, with no talking and stuff. Enjoy, fellow Atlanteans ^_^)
jessybxx: (Anime - Redhead (from REC))
( Sep. 18th, 2006 09:32 pm)
Had nothing to do so here's another something for you.
I'm addicted to this song right now so I decided to spread the love.

"Lost complex" by Iceman, from the album "Digiryzm Mutation". Download! (.zip / 4.33 MB / 4:48) Lyrics!
Iceman was ASAKURA Daisuke's band. They did a couple of songs for Gravitation, the anime (for example "Sleepless beauty", one of my all-time fave anime tunes <3). He now composes mainly for T.M.Revolution.
The song is something like a cross between dance, rock and pop with a fuckin' awesome intro.
Notice the use of guitars and keyboards and the typical computer drums? If that isn't ASAKURA-like, I dunno what is.
Enjoy :D
Well, I'll be leaving for Yama's place tomorrow so I felt like leaving a little pressie =)
Click here to download (11.4 MB)!
I hope it works, I had some problems uploading the last 60 KB or something O_o
And this is what it contains:

Shining star
[128 kbps / 3:28 / 3.17 MB]

artist: NAKAJIMA Tomoko
anime: Futari wa Pretty Cure
CD: vocal album "Dual Vocal Wave!"
no lyrics available T_T

When I listened to this song for the first time, I *died*. No kidding. It takes about 20 seconds to capture your attention completely, and if that fails, just wait for the transition between the verse and the chorus. Guitar, anyone? But apart from the awesome guitar stuff, just about every aspect of this track is absolutely spectacular and never fails to make my jaw drop even though it's a bit old already.

"Yume yo habatake / two hearts"

I believe in
[128 kbps / 4:21 / 3.97 MB]

artist: NAKAJIMA Tomoko
anime: Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart
CD: vocal album "Extreme Vocal Luminario!!"
no lyrics available T_T

Same artist, similar ingredients but still different enough to be as loveavble as "Shining star". Excellent guitar solo as well :D

[128 kbps / 4:49 / 4.41 MB]

artist: savage genius
anime: Erementar Gerad (OP)
CD: OP single
lyrics (+ translation!!)

If only the first album by savage genius ("Kaze no kesshou") had been anthing like this 2nd single of theirs T_T This is really fast and extremely catchy. Makes you feel like having been run over by a truck, but this time, it's a truck that consists of awesome melodies and great vocals, so it's not too bad ;)

Heh. This was fun.
Wow, I feel like Genki / KnO (my anime mp3 request sites) have come alive again. Eh... nope, that wouldn't be too good. Zombie websites, ewww XDDD
Anyway... Enjoy ^_^

Unfortunately, while I did some research for the rrack info, I came across some German Pretty Cure sites as well. The series has been running in a dubbed version for some time now. I once watched the opening and well, lucky I'm such a calm person or I might just have punched the screen >:O And the fact that there's a German version of "Shining star" nearly made me cry with anger. That's just so sick!

Speaking of sick, look at this. Business opportunity? Ewgh. So they(TOEI) are trying to sell the rights and they actually believe the thing could be a success. And you know what? IMHO, they're just plain wrong.

I felt like writing a little essay ^^ )

Sorry for the rant, but maybe it's interesting to someone... anyone... maybe not. At least I had fun writing it ^_~
Which reminds me... I still need to get #3 and #4 of the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's Special Soundtracks *lol*
jessybxx: (Kai - with Lars (SW) (cool ^^))
( Jul. 13th, 2006 07:14 pm)
Okay, SW in itself might be kinda boring, but this song has Kai in it and is just droolworthy as hell. At least the middle part is. Rawr. Hot day, anyone? :D

... and Maike (a reader of my German blog) just told me she's going to Summerbreeze. Guess what band will be playing there? Well, good for her T_T

Geez. Someone needs a dose of House to lighten up. Mmh, three episodes in a row? Yeah, sounds good =)
jessybxx: (Kai - manga style)
( Apr. 21st, 2006 08:16 pm)
Mum just entered my room (Why? Because it's the best spot to spy on our neighbours -_-). She saw my new/old PC case and said "Huh, what's that?"
Er... moshi moshi*? The thing has been standing there for at least ten days now. I just moved it forward a bit to take the photo. Geez =_=
Also, dad keeps forgetting his cellphone charging cable at his office and keeps stealing mine O_O I guess there are certain disadvantages in owning the same model, and here's one of 'em ;)

Okay, here it is, even though nobody seemed to be interested: The NME article about bandslash (369 KB). [livejournal.com profile] rockfic was kind enough to strip it from the actual issue cuz it would've been pretty stupid to upload more than sixty pages if you only need two ;) Thanks again, Boss ^_^

... and now I might want to actually READ that article *falls over*
I guess I'll also have to listen to that Tony Kakko interview again, cuz I've not really been paying attention to it just now *falls over again*
Anywho. C ya ;)
Okay, I decided to spoil you people even further and complied all of my GR uploads into one post. Just because ;) And I even added some external links to all of the audio interviews that I know of. I even recorded the only one that isn't downloadable and added it to my server so you can listen to it offline. One of the sites seems to be gone as well, but thankfully, I had saved the file and so I uploaded that as well. Enjoy ^_^

Big video files (on Megaupload)

(.mp3/13.1 MB/28:46)

Kai Interview from August 2005 (Odin's Jukebox)

(.mp3/4.44 MB/12:57)
(.mp3/3.15 MB/9:11)

Kai interview from August 2001 (metalexpressradio.com)
(He talks about "Trouble" in this ^_^)
(Also good for those who are still doubtful about how to prounounce Henjo's name. Kai says it a few times during this one. Come to think of it, it's almost a bit too much. Slut ;P)
And to prove my thesis that almost every stream can be recorded somehow:
my downloadable version!
(.wma/7.16 MB/20:28)

Phew, I guess that's it. Off to get that frickin' PDF thing done >:O
...and to record some more of those .wma files from metalexpressradio.com. Because I can ;P
BTW, new interviews are up on Metal Reigns, there's anohter one with Tony Kakko as well. That kinda stuck me cuz I've been listening to a lot of Sonata Arctica lately O_O
Happy Easter, everyone ^_^

My little easter egg:
I think some of you might remember the video of Gamma Ray (read: the slut and Stickman only) doing a short interview and a three-song acoustic show for their Japanese record label. That file couldn't be skipped so you always had to watch the whole thing to get to a part later in the movie. Now, what I did was re-encode the thing so you could skip through it like you do with most normal video files. Unfortunately, it got a little bigger, but I'd say the loss in audio and video quality is near zero, which is always a good thing.

Important: I used some weird codec to compress the video. The tool I used to re-encode the file wouldn't let me choose some ordinary compressor. My advice would be to get the DJBCP codec pack before trying to play it. ffdshow might work as well, but I'm not sure.

(.avi/174 MB/17:26)

Enjoy and comment if you liked ^_^
(Will be posted to [livejournal.com profile] helloween_fans in a moment)

On Saturday, I chose the new pair of glasses I'll be getting. I think they look pretty cool compared to my old ones
Unfortunately, my eyesight is now down to -11/-9 dioptres. Great. Am I shortsighted or what? Yoiu can call me old mole from now on if you like...not XD
Anyway, hun took a couple of pics wearing what shall become my new pair of glasses in two or three weeks. Look under the cut to see 'em.

OMG scary )
As I said, it's Megaupload this time.

(.wmv/149 MB/59:42)
Unfortunately, the thing is incomplete as you might see from the playing time. The sound is OK, video resolution is mediocre. But if you watch the thing at, say, 200%, it's quite decent to look at. Plus, it's one of the few longer live videos of recent GR gigs in existance, and that's better than nothing, right? =)

Setlist (copied from my Palm V):

00 Intro
01 Gardens of the sinner
02 Rich and famous
03 New world order
04 Armageddon
05 Heavy Metal universe
06 One with the world
07 Drumsolo
08 Razorblade sigh
09 The heart of the unicorn
10 Last before the storm

Some of my highlights are Kai's speech during "Heavy Metal universe" and the stuff he does to get the audience to sing. Look forward to that, I think it's uber cute <3 And then, the intro and outro of "Armageddon" really caught my attention - those are scorchingly hot :)~~~~ Of course, there's plenty of Henjo and Dirk as well, but overall, it's mainly a real gem for us Kai fangirls.

Enough of this banter, enjoy... and comment, you weirdos ;P
