Lost the auction. Oh well. At least I managed to download the mp3s :D [/invincible positivism XD]
(Which reminds me, I still haven't listened to "The Sequel". It scares me a bit because the main plot is that Spock and Q swap characters. As in, Q becomes all rational and quiet and Spock turns stupid, childish, giggly and generally all over-the-top. Scaaaary X_X)

Guess what? [livejournal.com profile] silicondreams wrote me a story *squeals* And I well... printed it out and it's now haninging on the cupboard behind my bed, next to the lyrics of Edguy's "Land of the miracle" :D

I'm also re-watching the superheroes. Because I loo~ooved it. Oh, and also cuz I'm weird XD

Coming up tomorrow (maybe): Some reviews of recent SG-A episodes and a little something about the argument I had with [livejournal.com profile] yamasagi last night. Yeah, we actually TALK about stuff *rofl*

Could you possibly link to those torrents for the Q/Spock debates? I can't find them on my normal torrent search sites. :-) Having met John deLancie many many years ago (96, I think?), he really is one of my favorite ST characters.

Oh, and if you need anything from Japan, lemme know..anime, cds, etc...although I might find it a little difficult to purchase anything yaoi-related in the stores.. it's weird enough walking in as the 2m-tall gaijin. ;-) And I think the sentence, "Excuse me, could you point me in the direction of the man-love?" is on the low end of my Japanese-learning priorities..hehe.

I wish there WERE any torrents around. That way, it wouldn't have taken me a week to download the buggers on eMule ;)
But I was going to upload them anyway. And now I even have someone who's actually interested in them. Just give me two days (slow-ass connection), 'kay?

A lot of people seem to like him a lot.
Wow, you met him? How was that?

Well, if I ever have money again, I'll think about it. And no yaoi? Sad, but well... *makes note* ^_~

Thanks! I'll wait patiently ;-)

I met JdL at a Trek convention near my hometown. He was nice.. though I think he was tired from talking to all the fans when I finally got to him. He was kind of off-the-wall, though, trying to convince us he was actually from Theodore, Alabama (a small redneck town near my hometown).. pretty funny.

And actually, a funny thing yaoi-related happened to me tonight. I was showing these two female friends of mine (a German and a Pole) around Tokyo, and we were in Akihabara, looking at electronics, when we saw a sex shop. Of course, they had to go in, and started asking the guy at the counter where the "gay anime" was. Of course, he had no idea what they were talking about, so I swallowed my pride, looked at him embarrassingly, and asked, "Yaoi wa doko desu ka?"

He pointed down the stairs. As I was walking down there with my friends, I swear to God he was laughing his head off at me. *sigh* And they didn't even find it, anyway. They got embarassed and walked out. All that trouble, and for NOTHING.

Anyway, thanks. :-D
